heyhococo
Suggestion Name: Being able to use left and right arrow keys in chat Suggestion Description: If I'm using the chat I try to use proper English without any mistakes, but if (for whatever reason) I do a long line of text and there's one mistake, I'd have to delete all of the text up until the mistake. Therefore it'd be easier to be able to just go back and delete the mistake instead of all of it. Any example images: No. Why should it be added?: It'd be easier for players to correct mistakes, as well as admins who'd need to instruct traffic quickly if there's a blockage or something. New point from @FirestarteR93 (15/3/16): Quote People wanted devs to allow steering while using the chat/tab menu - now that got added and now you want it to be gone again. Instead of adding and then removing the same thing over and over and over and over again, can't we simply e.g. use the mouse for that as @BritishTeaBag (10/10 for the name) posted on the prev. page? Beefy32659_YT
Hello, Yes I would love this feature too. I hope the developer's take this onboard and work on making it a reality. Hopefully you agree. - Beefy 1 If my comment helped, Please give a Positive Rating above ↗ ↗ ↗
Synplex
Oh boy, many a time have I seen a mistake and ended up deleting the entire thing because I can't get there to change it neither can I be bothered to re-type it It's always right at the start as well, never the second word from the end >,> +1 2 If someone has helped you, be sure to give them rep ^ .:: Report a player | Appeal a ban | Forum rules | In-game rules ::. Subtle [HKG]
+1, as it's annoying for people to delete the entire thing and then type it again because of just 1 word or 1 letter.

FernandoCR [ESP]
I'm not using chat a lot, but since you normally do that in a hurry, it's easy to scramble... May I add to the suggestion to include usual editing controls, like Ctrl+Arrow to jump a full word, Ctrl+A go to the start, etc...? +1 from me. BritishTeaBag
Yeah, a cursor would be a good idea. Would it have to be bound to the arrow keys though or something else?
heyhococo
^ So if there was a mistake, you could use the left and right arrow keys to go back and forward in the chat. It'd probably have to be the arrow keys because it's just easier for the end user, plus it's probably easier for the developers if it was implemented. heyhococo
^ Bumping a thread is just adding a comment to bring it further up the threads list. However it's against the rules to bump it less than 3 days after the last comment.
