    enjoyed the convoy on Saturday, great event and looking forward to the next one, I was in the blue and grey Scania 6x2.  getting up the ramp in Calais was interesting, took a few attempts as the truck couldn't get traction and would go half way up and just sit wheel spinning

      Derpatrick9 it was interesting, and you don't need a massive power truck like an S730 or FH750 to enjoy the CD.  That run was with a 17,000kg payload with 510hp under the cab in a typically Explore style RHD truck.

      yeah, I met a russian driving the wrong way in France.  must be one of those English-Russians

       

      however it just goes to show, you don't need to race around in a Scout to enjoy it.  for the whole I was at 56 on te motorway

    A run to Reims with an accident. 

     

    18:03 I move over to give players room when overtaking, HOW THE HELL I did not hit the Volvo and his racing buddy as I began to move back over i do not know, it must have been a pixel away from a PIT move from tipping him into the barrier.

    20:30, getting overtaken on the hard shoulder and then being bashed by Pixote19 who was also passing on the hard shoulder.  I didn't think Germany had "smart motorways"

      22:46 pedrogds4 comes onto the Autobahn, straight across and STOPS dead.  not sure if it was lag or a brake test.

    A change from my usual ride which is a Scania S730 highline 6x2 to a Daf 105XF-410, carrying 20,000kg of petfood to Aberdeen.  The run starts in Duisburg and goes down the famous, or rather INFAMOUS C-D road to calais channel tunnel port, after that its up the UK motorway network to Abderdeen.
