Set your ETS2 version to 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs' under Properties on Steam. It should work when starting the launcher and not give you any error message regarding incompatible game version.

Joining a group or VTC (Virtual Trucking Company) is based on own iniative, as it's not something official from TruckersMP. But to start off, you can look on ets2c.com for convoys and see if there are any VTCs hosting a convoy, and they will most likely also post their contact info there. You can also ask other people about their VTC or if they know any good ones to perhaps join. It's also normal to be faced with a driving test when joining a group, but often something you'll accomplish if you're comfortable with your driving.

Really interesting idea, if it could work out, it would assure that 100% of all submitted in-game reports would be looked at which is of course great. However, that would also make the need for admin presence in-game much smaller, as all reports would then be relocated to the website. An admin could then technically not even have the game(s) at all, and just operate on the website. The interesting bit is that the whole concept of having admins in-game would have an alternative, which then brings up questions about wether it's actually needed for report claiming 'there' when you can do it 'here'. Of course, there will always occur situations where action is needed right away (CB abuse, blocking, spam, etc.), so that's always a reason to have people in-game to deal with reports. And to add on your suggested function, it could make so that all dismissed in-game reports (non-claimed) will get uploaded to the web, instead of all the reports (if that was your intended thought). But still a really interesting topic which I think will bring up new discussable topics.

I would imagine it being a bit hard to implement something like that, as it's really specific and it wouldn't know if it were a genuine crash or something else. You can always Cheat Engine however, it's free, easy to use and not classed as a restricted cheat or mod in MP. I think a feature like that would fit the MP gameplay well. The community has a large diversity in people especially including age, so I'm positive to something like that. And since the new report system has recently arrived giving much easier access to people's chat history, an automatic system which removes profanity wouldn't have the big need of covering every single swear word, as the reporting would more easily take care of that. And from my view, it would generally make the whole atmosphere of playing in MP more family friendly (as it's intended to be) and look more professional.

It has been suggested alot before, but rejected. However, I would expect a VTC to actually recognise the color of the dot, so an inactive ban would not be relevant for them.

I recommend you using the beginner profile (or seperate one) for MP as it includes some startup funds and XP which benefits in multiplayer (unexpected truck damage, etc.), and the bug which you experienced now. But if you want to solve the issue, you can try sleeping, F7, warp time, etc. (anything that passes the game time).

Press F1 to redownload all the files from the TruckersMP launcher.

You have to update your ETS2 to the compatible version (newest - 1.27x) for TruckersMP. Head on over to your Steam Library, right click ETS2 and press 'Properties'. Go under the 'Betas' tab and select 'NONE - Opt out of all beta programs' in the drop-down menu.

Mac support will not be implemented at the time being (incl. Linux). You can read the 'Frequently suggested things' thread for more info about it.

Go into Options > Gameplay. There you'll find a slidebar to adjust the rain frequency for your local game.

As well as new/edited rules are displayed on the website, it will also be notified on the TruckersMP launcher, which you'll always use when you play. I think your suggestion is neat, I think it would make a benefit. But I think how it currently is will do its job for now.

The issue occurs because the server time conflicts with the time your profile refers to (from SP). So skipping time and such won't unfortunately work in MP. It's best to have seperate profiles for SP and MP (as you already have). You can play with a "realistic" profile on MP, but that has to be from the start. Transferring profiles from single- and multiplayer is going to cause such issues as you've seen. If you have an exessive amount of funds or XP in-game, you can always use Cheat Engine to set the exact values. Teleporting is still a type of enforcement, even though it's not as harsh as a kick. Imagine several people reporting everyone and they get teleported away regardless of the situation. It's an interesting topic about how to effectively deal with blockers, but I don't think that system would be the solution.

The whole point of trolling someone is to deliberately cause disruption or harm to somebody else for your own entertainment. So it wouldn't be appealing for trolls to play on a server where everyone else are just trolls. And you can't really force them either.

Remove all of your AI drivers if you have any. That is a common cause in such cases. You can also verify the game integrity and see if that works.

The existing reputation system is pretty much identical to the one you're suggesting. Only difference is of course that the reputation system shows a permanent result of what people are giving to each other, and not just a current "agree-counter" on the post or thread. I don't see any problem either with having a counter of it, as it acts as an useful display/indication on the user aswell. And in the end, I don't see the issue with people replying +1 or -1 to a suggestion with a reason explaining why, regardless if they give a reputation point or not. Because the forum rules states that you can't publish any useless content, making all such content reportable. So yes, the solution would be to mark content that does not contribute any further to the discussion more actively. I like the idea behind the suggestion, but I don't see the use of it.

"Becoming" a Veteran Driver in the first play doesn't require you to play the game anyway, you just have to be registered for over a year. So one does not have to "earn" it in any way to gather it. And the rank of VD is just a forum thing really, which doesn't apply to people's TruckersMP profiles.
