Massive shout out to all my twitch followers.   Two thousand followers in less than 2 years, something I never dreamt of.  I have to say that I would unlikely be in this situation if it was not for the TruckersMP.  Until very recently I would say that 90% of my community is made up TruckersMP players.

Before I begin this post I need to thank @Bastet.for giving me permission to post a charity link within this status update.

 

You of course are aware that I am one of the two Official Streamers for TruckersMP, however most of you may not be aware that I am also an official streamer for my chosen charity Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue registered with the English Charity Commission - number 1183401.

 

I am also an active member of Barking Mad Fundraisers along with @Sharkie2405 and others and I have been chosen to organise a charity convoy event on TruckersMP to raise awareness and funds for the dogs  & cats looking for their forever homes.  This year I have pushed myself and challenged myself to organise - The Rescue Run 2021

THE BEST FUN I HAVE HAD WITH EGGS!!

 

What an amazing time I had with the community yesterday afternoon and evening streaming the Easter Egg Hunt 2021.  I hope all those who took part managed to get a photo image of the TEAL eggs I was hauling? I was totally driving blind, something my regular viewers will know I never do - but still get lost!!! 

 

I would like to send a special mention to event manager @Raymond_ for allowing me to take such "care" of the fragile !!  I was certainly not expecting to be asked to drive one of the main eggs in the event.

 

The Community Moderators did another fantastic job in the twitch chat during the event - thank you so much   I would like to send my thanks to all those who contributed in making the event so much fun and memorable.

Many congratulations to "Hunter" in becoming the 2021 TMP Tournament Champion

 

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who organised, facilitated, participated, spectated and who tuned into the stream yesterday for the TMP Tournament 2021.  I certainly enjoyed streaming the event and I had plenty of laughs and light hearted moments during the 10 hours of LIVE streaming!! 

 

Thank you to the community moderating team during the stream - you are all amazing.

At the end of the tournament there was a little surprise!!  I, live on stream completed the reversing challenges - eventually!!!!!!!!  There was a head to head between the TMP Stream Team on the race track.  Much laughter and excitement was had - we both crashed on several occasions hahahahahah.  We were then allowed to be set loose on the cone challenge.  Errrrrrrrm I kept watching the wrong countdown kek - of course this was content for the stream

#TMP 7 Events - A streamers synopsis

 

So for 7 years TruckersMP has been entertaining peoples lives worldwide.  So much has changed over those years and I am honoured not only to be a member of the community, but also as a member of staff at TruckersMP. The festival on the Friday was amazing and along with TruckersFM, it went so well - it was great to see so many members of the community & staff turning up for the event!

@Nightmare_se_TMP enjoyed streaming the celebrations on ATS on the Saturdays' celebratory convoy - while on Sunday I streamed the ETS convoy.

 

Then at 00:00 UTC on the Monday morning, TruckersMP unleashed two extra servers - TMP7 Freeroam [No Road Rules] on both ETS & ATS which are open for another 13 days - see post https://www.truckersmp.com/blog/249   Today I streamed on both of these servers on the official TruckersMP twitch channel.  Much fun, laughter and enjoyment was had by myself, those in chat & those in game participating with me.  As expected - most were out to RAM the streamer live on air - and they managed it.  I think I spent most time visiting F7!!!!!!!!!!

 

I would like to acknowledge and thank all those who have helped with organising and facilitating in anyway to make and support the TruckersMP 7th birthday events go ahead - amazing achievement.  My biggest thanks has to go out to YOU the community for attending these events and being part of the TruckersMP community

I have far to many mugs so when i was looking for something to purchase from the TruckersMP merch page on teespring I decided to go for something that the community could see when I am streaming on the TMP twitch channel.  So what have I purchased?

 

 

I could have gone gone for a variety of colours however, I felt a twitch purple was appropriate.

Our friends and partner Promods have a fantastic merchandise store very much like our own here  However they have an awesome T-Shirt which I think is very apt for when the community asks;

I am confident that those who do join me in-game will indeed be sensible.  I will be using my new profile on the day, so will be looking for truck dealerships, garages, and recruitment agencies.

Recently promoted in Courtz Carriers VTC as a trainee member of the Recruitment Team.  I would like to take this opportunity to thank Courtz49 TotallyDiesel & Z1rox and all who made the decision to make the promotion.  After going through full training I am now  fully trained to process applications in our active, friendly, warm and global VTC.

Miles For Smiles

Great things have happened to me recently over at CRTZ Carriers.  I applied to become a Trainee Event Team member and I am delighted to say that I was accepted by our Event Manager Sharkie

I have been emensly fortunate over the past 17 months and must thank the TruckersMP community, devs, managers, event staff and of course, ADEEEEEEEEEENS to help me with my twitch channel which has been a success.  I have had support from SCS Software when my 1st year of twitch streaming came up earlier this year - they very kindly donated to me a number of steam keys to give away for both ETS and ATS.

 

I am now looking to continue on the path to partner and have recently been experimenting with a number of different simulator games on my twitch channe.  However, my favorite game will always be ETS and ATS.

I have set aside the following dates to stream over on TruckersMP twitch channel. [ ALL TIMES ARE IN UTC ]

My last stream on twitch.tv/truckersmp it didn't really go very well at.  It was certainly not the kind of ending I would want for any of my streams, but particularly on TMP.  I have the audio now sorted out and I have also having my ISP looking into the problems I had the other day.

 

Sadly I do not have any control over my internet going down, but it is even worse when it is during, what I consider, an important and well enjoyed stream too.  

I am hopeful that my next stream - date and time still to be decided - will be a less eventful and more enjoyable experience for all.

Seems a long time since i wrote anything in the forums.  Thought i would give a little update on my Recruitment role CourtzCarriers as it has been quite eye opening.  Interviewing a variety of people.  Human nature is strange sometimes.  We have a great recruitment team and it is fantastic to work with such wonderful people who put a lot of effort into ehancing the  VTC for the benefit of its drivers.  Its going well.

 

With regards to me streaming over at twitch.tv/rescue193uk I did loose a bit of enthusiam for a few weeks, however I have now found my mojo again and I am enjoying driving around Sim 1 and Promods with viewers.  I now have a regular schedule back up and running.

So Im Rescue193uk.  The helicopter in my banner is where I take my name from.  It was the Search and Rescue helicopter in Cornwall where i use to live.  Look around the internet and you may find more about me as I use this name a fair bit.  The picture on my profile is me however it was taken a few years ago now. 

 

I enjoy playing ETS2 on both Truckers MP and base game - although I have recently begun to play around with mods and Promods, which I think really adds another dimension to the game.

Things have moved well for me of late.  A number of amazing things have occurred over the past few months.  Most notably, becoming a TMP official streamer and now being a founder & director of perhaps TMPs newest VTC, Outcast Transport.  We already have a number of drivers and we are looking forward to becoming a social, community orientated VTC within the TMP & virtual trucking community.

Today's TMP stream was brilliant.  Starting in Oslo and the first journey was up to Trondheim and then on up to Kirkenes.  @speedy_tmp

 very kindly followed my up to Kirkenes and then we met up at F7.

 

From there I changed trucks from a MAN to a VOLVO.  We then headed towards the quarry.

 

@Phon joined us as well and we got down to the quarry relatively unscathed.  We were joined by @Sharkie2405 and @TFM_Mikey

It has taken me a few days to actually comprehend the enormity of the loss the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has had on me.  As I grew up in the UK Military ( RAF), I am fully aware of the importance of the monarchy of the United Kingdom And Northern Ireland, and the head of state for the Commonwealth.

I respect that not everyone will be a supporter of the UK monarchy, I also understand that not everybody is in the United Kingdom or in a Commonwealth country so the passing of our longest reigning monarch will mean very little to them.  That being said, I would appreciate it if those who are non supporters would keep to a civil path and be respectful to my beliefs.

As we leave the Elizabethan era and enter a new chapter in our royal history, I have to say to His Majesty King Charles III

Total Hours on ETS2 played to date

 

I am really pleased and surprised that I am coming up to 4,000 hours of playtime on Euro Truck Simulator 2.  I am also very pleased to have done over half of the achievements too.

ARROW 
 

Arrow was 17 months old and had been with me since February 2022.  He was a rescue cat that I had from the charity I volunteer for, Santerpaws Bulgarian Rescue, Pleven, Bulgaria.  He was one of the most friendly and loving cats I have known, of course with his cheeky mischievous ways too.  We bonded very quickly and he was full of life and activity.  He gave me much enjoyment and routine, which is one of the things I need for my mental health issues. 

 

Arrow went missing on Monday 10th October 2022 and I was very concerned, but kept trying to tell myself that he was exploring the area more and was possibly with another person who was feeding him, or similar.  On the 15th October 2022, I went for my Covid19 & Flu jabs and I decided to ring around my local vets.  They asked for some images of Arrow and asked me to describe him.

I decided that I would drop into the vets just to double check.  They confirmed that a cat matching Arrows description had been bought in on Monday 10th at about 8.50AM after being hit by a car.  I saw the vet who told me that Arrow had suffered a serious pelvis injury and possible internal injuries too.  The vets had been giving him pain relief and keeping him as comfy as possible.  

Because of my situation, I am only receiving welfare benefits so I am eligible to have one pet treated free by the PDSA  The vet said that if I was able to confirm that the PDSA would take over treating Arrow, then they would not ask for any money for the treatment they had given Arrow - which I thought was very generous of them.

I got onto the PDSA immediately and managed to get him over to the local PDSA Pet Hospital.  The vet there said they would take further X-rays, and keep him comfortable.  I should expect a phone call later on in the day.  At around 8:45pm I had a call letting me know that Arrows pelvis had been shattered and it was not going to be possible to repair it.  He also had some complications with his bladder.  

Sadly I had to make the heart wrenching decision to have Arrow put to sleep.
