Greeting TruckersMP Community! The scout car has been part of the game for quite some time and has achieved iconic status among players. Our Add-On team has been hard at work by adding new items to the scout car so players can customise their experience. You may have already seen these new items on the roads. After Haulie took a wrong turn and the first shipment was lost, some of the items have been popping up on the black market. Despite this unexpected turn of events, we're now excited to announce that the Scout Tuning Pack is now available on TruckersMP at every dealership! What’s new? The Scout Tuning Pack features different items for the scout car. Below you will find per section the different items that are available for customisation. The pack is available for both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator with some minor variations between both platforms. Customisation for all players For the scout car there are multiple items that have been added for customisation that are available for all players: Single Orange Beacon Modern LED Bar (ETS2 only) Empty Roof Rack (ETS2 only) High Side Skirts with slots Underglow (ETS2 only: Green, White, Light Blue, Pink) Small Spoiler Bike Rack (ETS2 only) Race Splitter Upgraded Splitter Carbon Exhaust Painted Exhaust A scout car with the Empty Roof Rack, High Side Skirts with slots and the Small Front Spoiler. Customisation for Patrons (Master Trucker) For the scout car there are multiple items that have been added for customisation that are only available for Patrons (Master Trucker): Taxi Sign (ETS2 only) Taxi Skin Double Orange Beacon Roof Rack with Roof Box (ETS2 only) Low Side Skirts with slots Underglow (ETS2 only: Blue, Turquoise, Orange, Purple, Red) Large Spoiler Small Carbon Spoiler Race Carbon Splitter Gold Exhaust RS Sports Steering Wheel A scout car with the Taxi Skin and Taxi Sign. Truck Beacon Bar On top of the scout accessories, we have added a Truck Beacon Bar! Now you can warn your fellow truckers of any hazardous cargo effectively! A truck with the Truck Beacon Bar. Support Team Recruitment From the 1st of August until the 17th of August, we will be looking for talented individuals to join our Support team. As a member of the TruckersMP Support team, you will be in charge of providing assistance to players with technical and general questions about all TruckersMP-related problems. They do this for example by finding solutions to the user's issues on all platforms, moderating and assisting in the help section on the forum and handling bug reports and editing profiles that violate our rules. Core Requirements Have good knowledge of TruckersMP and the rules Must be a member of TruckersMP for at least 12 months Must have a forum and Discord account for internal communication Must be at least 16 years old No bans / forum or Discord punishments within the last 12 months Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months Must have overall good behaviour, which includes forum, Discord and our official social media pages You have sufficient knowledge of the English language Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism Regular activity on both our Discord guild and forum* Requirements marked with an asterisk are core requirements adapted to team-specific qualifications. Data protection: Having a broad understanding of data protection and how to deal with sensitive information, as the security of our player's confidential information is what matters the most to us. Willingness to help: As assisting players that are in need of help will be your daily responsibility in the Support team, we expect a high level of problem-solving skills and a general willingness to help others. This requires regular helpful activity across our platforms before submitting an application. If the convo takes place on an event server, please read the rules because some organizers want it to be a private convoy only for companies, i.e. groups with the same tag. For this reason, free driving is not allowed, but not everywhere, that is, not on every convoy. If you have a Public starting slot, it means that the convoy is open to all players and there is a place for you there. When it comes to these groups with the same tag, you should look for a group suitable for you on VTC TMP and then join it and their discord and ride with them, just like I have my own group but I organize convos open to all players, I never private ones. New vehicles other than Skoda could appear on the servers, but not including Public and Patreon vehicles because these vehicles cannot be tuned, so instead of the Skoda, a replacement should be added that will also have many tuning options.

So many players have habits like professional drivers, I also have my own habit: when I reach the unloading point in tight places, mainly Promods servers, I drive slowly, not one player honked, but when there is a tight space, I have to drive slowly. I browse my phone while driving, including YouTube or Tik Tok, but I never pose a threat, but these are real-life habits that translate into the game, some less harmful, some more harmful. I also think that many players certainly have good and bad behaviors, but most players are very young, their age may even be around 10 years, so when it comes to overtaking and cutting into the road or forcing the right of way, it does not have to be caused by professional drivers or a person with a driving license. only a person who has no knowledge of driving any vehicle.

As game moderators we encourage players to follow the posted speedlimit (not the server speed limit), as this creates the safest environment for all of us. It gives time for players to react to unforseen circumstances (i.e. a truck lagging in front of you, crashes or reckless overtakers). It is even mentioned in our rules that we expect players to follow real life laws and speeding can be a factor when issuing punishments for rule violations. So we encourage players to follow the speedlimit (yes, even 60). As a real life truck driver, we would never go 90 in a 60 zone. The 60 zone is posted for a reason and going 90 in a 60 would make you lose your license right away if caught. It is important to note, that it is a simulation game. So the speedlimits are based on the real life equivalent of the stretch of road or based on that country’s road laws. So 60 is posted because if it was real life it would have been a 60 kmh zone. From my experience as a game moderator, I can only say that the players following the posted speedlimit are not the dangerous players. Players overtaking with 110 no matter what it takes and no matter how busy that road is - they are the dangerous players. They are the ones causing the issues and causing all the major traffic jams and crashes. "But if everyone was going 100-110 then we wouldn't have to overtake!" is the worst reason ever to encourage players to speed - especially on Simulation servers. They are called simulation servers for a reason. CD road is not made for going that fast - going that fast will only cause more accidents and trucks tipping over. Players will still try to overtake a truck going 100 if they are going 110 themselves. This will only create even more dangerous situations. Again; We encourage players to stick to the posted speed limit. That is WAY safer than going 100-110. You might not think it's just as a fun, but safety is more important than 110 kmh fun when it comes to CD road. So stick to the posted speedlimit and keep a safe distance. It will create less chaos and crashes on CD road. Do NOT encourage players to speed up just because you are bored and can't be bothered to go to an open stetch of road to test out your driving skills without causing danger to other players. Driving the speedlimit can not be considered reckless on its own. Driving 30 kmh because you are hauling a 60t locomotive with a 310hp Iveco can in some cases be considered Blocking and we do issue punishments for that when it is considered as such. The main issue with CD road is, that everyone wants to do CD, but no one has the patience to do CD.

I'm happy about the new beacons, so a player suggestion/idea has been implemented! Good job AddOnTeam Use Scout only to escort special transport convoys of my VTC, so the other things affect me less, but still gets a little sporty refresh haha As a detail lover, I notice that the bright yellow of the new beacons does not match the (orange) LEDs that already exist....
