Dylаn Posted September 13, 2019 Report Posted September 13, 2019 Suggestion Name: Ability to create albums in your gallery on your "Show your work!" topic. Suggestion Description: Allows you to create albums on your gallery in the "Show your work!" in "Media". This will allow viewers to find images more easier for things such as events and convoys. Any example images: (This took a lot of inspect element) Why should it be added?: It will help to navigate images or videos in the gallery whilst keeping the gallery's a lot more organised. It will be very helpful for events and convoys. 6 Dylan | Steam | TruckersMP | Twitter | Discord: .Dylan#0001
Bastet. Posted January 7, 2020 Report Posted January 7, 2020 It's not a bad idea, however it would require to create a "subforum" for everyone who requests it, which may become crowded after some time. If this suggestion would be accepted, there should be a requirement to receive a gallery album. Like a certain activity on the forum + your gallery.
#MadFoX Posted March 20, 2020 Report Posted March 20, 2020 I think it's a bad idea. It may look nice at first but there will be a lot of crowded later. Too many subforums will open. Too many topics will be opened into these subforums. As Chris said, if this proposal is accepted, there must be a requirement for that kind of gallery. For example: VTC Gallery Requirement
Interstate Nomad Posted March 21, 2020 Report Posted March 21, 2020 I agree that it would keep a gallery more organized. But I wonder what would happen if one or more sub directories become inactive. Will they be archived or will they stay open as other sub directories may still keep the parent directory active?
Reaper9518 Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 This is a good idea, a little work to set the example in the image xD.
pp2amd6 Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 Hello! I do not think this is a good idea. Such albums can have a large number of similar photos - you can take many photos on one convoy per trip. This will only be a pointless consumption of server disk space.
Mineiro Uai Posted April 4, 2020 Report Posted April 4, 2020 I agree with pp2amd6. It consumes only the server's disk space. Whoever wants to post photos .. instagran and share the link. 1
Velo Posted April 15, 2020 Report Posted April 15, 2020 I feel this would be a great idea as it would keep everyones images a lot more organised
.George Posted June 2, 2020 Report Posted June 2, 2020 This will definitely be great! It could clog up the forums but if there were some restrictions and requirements, this would be a great feature!
Guest GЯΞУHOUИD Posted July 8, 2020 Report Posted July 8, 2020 I believe this is a very good idea but if they create so many subforums or albums i think things will be complicated in the future. If it possible to moderate this, i think that would be a great start and feature.
POW&R Posted July 20, 2020 Report Posted July 20, 2020 Actually it's a very nice thought. But the downside is:Too much crowding I do not think you will enjoy it when it gets crowded. Regards, TruckersMP POW&R
Unnamed User Posted November 21, 2020 Report Posted November 21, 2020 I like this idea! If this would be made by TMP, then it would be better when it would be restricted to one main gallery and 2 or 3 other topics.
Azuly Posted May 5, 2021 Report Posted May 5, 2021 I like the idea as it would keep the forum more organized. However, it would take a huge amount of time to moderate every single person's personal gallery. I think sharing a link to your gallery on dropbox or similar on your status update would be more practical and useful. If management decides it's doable though, I don't see why not.
Pixel. Posted June 2, 2021 Report Posted June 2, 2021 Thank you very much for your suggestion! Even tho I would be in favour of this it is not as easy as flicking a switch. This "feature" that you requested is a paid feature by Invision Community (What our forum is powered by). This would take too much resources for what it is worth. I suggest for now to have clear titles in your posts for each convoy / occasion. Sorry for the very late reply. // Rejected Kind regards,
