I can agree with you, but it looks like it won't be made. You should look at this:

More slots on the server:
This is something many people complain about, and we hear ya, we want it too, there's an issue we've not yet been able to nail down. We will increase the limit the moment we can. Increasing the slots is not as easy as just changing the number, it requires server power which costs money, to minimise the lag and high ping with higher amounts of players.

Yea, MP is more than capable of adding more slots for the server and having more players on at once as far as I know, but as soon as there's a lot of people in one area or a lot of people bunched together in multiple areas, the servers struggle. Even when there were less slots on, for example the event servers, it worked fine, until there was a massive amount of people in one spot, making it struggle and crash.

I don't think is needed, sim2, rarely get's full , and there is sim3. All have the same rules.

bruh, why have sim2 when is rarely full when you can join them together to have ~8 thousand people in the same server but from what I read, it's bc of limitations, well it sucks.

But I have to say cities that get a lot of people, are already full, I mean it's impossible to put more trucks on the streets than what it already has, at least on the city.
Well having like 8000 people would be lit, seeing so many people would be a game changer and since we dont have A.I. would be more fun than empty roads, interesting I've only seen the promods server host up to 6000 slots at launch.

In my opinion, yes, I agree with the fact that there should be more slots as the member count increases overwhelmingly during this period. On the other hand, the developers must upgrade the servers they have so that they're sure the server can withstand the load over the upgraded server limit and that will be up to them to decide.

The problem is, that the issue is not only server limitations, but also game limitation. The game is not very optimized, and as all we know, there are players with good computers that have 15FPS when they are in locations with 90+ players.

Duisburg is already laggy, if you increase the slots, it will be more laggy and unplayable.

When TMP talks about money, no offence, it is used kinda as a bland excuse.

According to their Patreon (which I have no clue if their goals are up to date):

----

€489.21 - reached! per month

These are our current monthly expenses to keep TruckersMP working.

-

€815.35 - reached! per month

With this amount of money we will be able to setup game servers in more places, like in Asia, South America, Africa, all around the globe!

----

The current revenue of TruckersMP as we speak, solely from Patreon, is currently €5,366 per month.

As of now, we see no Game Servers located in Africa nor South America, yet there is a server located in Singapore (Asia), which is sign of some progress 👍.

----

Here's where I am trying to get:

The funds of TMP, which are at least €5,366 per month, are not being used correctly, or the goals that they have established are not/very slowly, being accomplished (in my opinion).

I think the Revenue and Spendings of TMP coming public [available for everyone to see] would be the best so we can really now the Financial Status of TMP.

Why know the Financial Status of TMP?:

Transparency towards the User/Patreon/etc.

So, how we going to fix that? By spreading across the entire europe map and driving everywhere instead of focusing on one single area :D

Now TMP has installed S3 server, but it may not be able to stop people who are willing to drive in Calais Duisburg. However, in the past, it has changed. Now the traffic volume will be much less than before. I remember that before the design of S3 server, the number of people in S1 Calais 300, and people can't walk around because they only have 5fps,
