@antrax 737 i was working in a disposition of a italian trucking company during this summer. In the datasysttem you can see the plates of the trucks(and their drivers-informations) and the models(with those also the engine) iveco was used just for the romanian truckers and the rest of the truckers had mercedes new actros with 500-600 hp and scanias with 590-730 hp and volvo fh's with 600-700 hp

the more powerful trucks were usually used for special and heavy transports...

@antrax 737 : I do it because it's more of a challenge, and the ingame loads aren't all that heavy compared to what you could have irl.

Though, irl, i'd have a more powerfull engine, that is true   But, as this is a simulator game, i like the challenge of hauling a "heavy" load over the alps, or the Norwegian mountains, with a low powered engine. You should give it a try

@MR_XY2 I guess the company you were working at is making a lot of money... I see 550hp+ very rarely, V8 uses more fuel...

@Noraf Well the loads are realistic in my opinion, when I was trucking irl, I was mostly hauling timber and, maximum weight in most of europe countries is 40 tons (italy 44) that is truck+trailer+cargo. If i remember right I used to load around 25.500-26.400 on that trailer, and timber trailer is very light, that way I had just under 40 tons.  Im not sure what you mean by "what you could have irl" maybe special cargo? If so, then yea those trailers could be heavier in game :/

Anyway, I do drive Scania 480 in ETS, I used to drive 450, Renault (both), Iveco, Volvo 500 or bellow... now lately I drive with trailer stability set on 0, I try to stick to Norway, East and South as roads there are more challenging, also there is less motorways
