Doesn't mean that the closer you're of your router. The better your ping will be. Also if you don't want to get kick for ping. You can always try the US server. Learn what ping is about here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ping_(networking_utility)

Make sure that you have the current file in the following the directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Euro Truck Simulator 2 Multiplayer\data\fonts File: OpenSans.ttf If you don't than that is your problem.

You should send a private message to Kat since he is the only owner of that thing. We do not have the source code of it. Also he would be happy to see suggestion for it too -
Put the path where ETS2 is. Example: D:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Euro Truck Simulator 2 but most of the time it's in your C:\
