      Its common sense . when someone overtake you ,you should show down to pass him/her safely. But what you did , you speed up like racing. So i can see its your fault.

      No not your fault or a ban for you... He is not allowed to overtake there due to the solid line, the oncoming traffic and the fact that it's a high populated area. You can drive as fast as you want then and he has to adjust your speed till he's definitely sure to overtake. The accident happened because of him and not because of you <3
