Movvy Posted August 30, 2015 Share Posted August 30, 2015 Hey guys im looking for a mod too change the wheels and tires of trailers wich works in MP. anyone has a good mod like this? preferable these wheels and tires: (absolute fury wheels and runner tires) note:im fully awear of the raven wheels issue and dont want a mod for this. thanks upfront! Movvy Posted August 30, 2015 Author Share Posted August 30, 2015 but didnt we concluded that it was only raven wheels thats causing this issue?and i remember in the same topic mods agreed as long as it doesnt causes lagg/crashes/ unrealistic looks(aka having 3 trailers modded inside eachother as 1 or something) that it is allowed? basicly as stated in the rules. another quote from the rules: also this is not valid to kick/ban to use a mod as long as it doesnt causes lagg/crashes(wich it shouldnt as i seen people use it with no problem) i know i havent been active for quiet few months soo maybe policy has been changed but atleast back in the days it was allowed as long as u dont use the raven wheels wich caus crashes.and as long as it crashes mods clearly have no ground too kick/ban u. I thought ETS2MP at the time supported it, and wondered why everyone was disappearing when I got to 500m~ of them. Haulvoc Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 I have some modded trailers with truck wheels on them, they are simple scs files you put in your mods folder. It can also be done by safe editing. Either way, you need to get a trailer in SP before it will work in MP. When I have some time I can make a mod that changes all trailer wheels. You can only choose from the old complete wheels, it's not possible to choose a rim and tyre. If you want to try by safe editing, decrypt the safe file (search forum for instructions) and search for: /t_wheel/ For most trailers you will find 3 lines, 1 for each trailer axle. This means you can have different wheels for each axle. Replace those lines so they look like this. This example will give you Sirius wheels: "/def/vehicle/r_wheel/3.sii" Other choices are 1.sii (Eastern Eagle), 2.sii (Absolute Fury) and steel.sii. Safe file and load it ingame. In general, the game engine flags any front wheels on a trailer, you will get no wheels showing on the trailer, only rear wheels are possible, but yea 3D models do over lap thou Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
