And if you are found to have created another account, you will be permanently banned. To add the option to ban via pc components, that would decrease online players and reduce the number of buyers. Implementing these kind of Tools is a temporary Solution! Every Game that having a kind of Human vs. Human Gameplay, there will be People who trying to cheat, like in Real Life. But unfortunately like any online game, whether small or big, there will always be techniques to circumvent the system to come back and start again... The only positive thing, these Tools includes many Spyware and Viruses, so there are many Schoolboys out there, who have wasted Daddys Bank Account and Porn Hub Account, Credit Card and other Vital Datas! If you take a look at TruckersMP's Privacy Policy (section 2.2.1), you can notice that they collect "hashed version of HWID, MAC, volume serial number and computer name; IP". That suggests that they already match banned players based on the stored information, hence the new kick reason that was added not too long ago that prevents you from joining a server if one of "your" accounts is banned. _raffaele_ Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Personally, i don't think TMP needs an anticheat, Those who get caught using these tools with the sole intent to harm others are a very small percentage and they get caught quickly; when i see the word cheat mentioned i think of someone trying to gain an advantage over other players, but in TMP/this game there is nothing that gives you an advantage over other players because there is nothing competitive or to "win", As i see it, developing and maintaining such a system is not worth it for so few cases also because it is more complex and more demanding to maintain over time; the automated cross-checking system that TMP does now to detect who has a banned account and kick them, is sufficient _raffaele_ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
