Granite [SVK]
With the ability to purchase our own low bed and low loader trailers, this guide should provide help for anyone who likes to haul heavy machinery, but finds configuring the trailer for specific task a bit confusing. This table lists all possible configurations of ownable low bed and low loader trailers by "Chassis" only, as this is the only factor which affects number of axles and overall length of the trailer, and thus, which cargo will be available for any given chassis configuration. Any other configurable options are just cosmetic and have no effect on utilization of the trailer. Trailer Chassis Configuration Explanation: Extendable Trailers You can adjust length of these trailers, switch to short or long version, depending on your needs. To do that, you must first attach the trailer to your truck, press F7 while stationary, then press Enter and click "Adjust Trailer" icon, then you can select one of the two options, confirm your selection and trailer will change. You can't do this if you already have active job, even if you have not loaded the cargo yet, and also when there is not enough room behind you to extend the trailer. Although these appear as two options in trailer purchase configuration, both versions are in fact one trailer, if you are buying short version, you are also buying long version, and vice versa. Because of that, I will list both versions of extendable trailers as single trailer, cargo types only applicable for shortened version are maked by inward pointing arrows and cargo types only applicable for long extended version are marked by outward pointing arrows Schwarzmüller Trailer Pack DLC: Owners of this DLC can also purchase "Schwarzmüller Low Loader" trailer, although it is actually, by all means, a low bed trailer and functions the same way as any of the 3 base game non-extendable low bed trailers. Cargo explanations, discrepancies and possible bugs/oversights on part of the developer (SCS Software): Cargo marked with "HP" - cargo is only available if you own "High Power Cargo Pack" DLC. Cargo marked with "HC" - cargo is only available if you own "Heavy Cargo Pack" DLC. Cargo from "Special Transport" DLC are not included, because they are not available for ownable trailers at all, and instead use their own set of special trailers, which are not even available in multiplayer. Cargo Mass taken from World of Trucks contracts, in-game cargo market shows rounded values. Some cargo appear with different paints (e.g. Excavator), but the difference is purely cosmetic. Wheel Loader 3 versions exist, first is equiped with a bucket, second with a grapple, third has a tool missing and is only loaded on shorter (non-extended) low loaders. All of them have identical cargo mass, so I will not differentiate them. Tractors (1 unit) Short low loaders only fit single tractor, resulting in lower cargo mass, that's why it is listed separately. Tractors (2 units) All low bed trailers and long extended low loaders always fit 2 tractors, but only low bed trailers version comes with a plough, however, cargo mass remains identical. Possible bug - for long extended low loaders, this cargo may have cargo mass of both single tractor or 2 tractors, despite always having visual appearance of 2 tractors, you will find both versions in the cargo market. This will also result in lower price per distance for lower mass cargo version. Wind Turbine Tower This load actually comes in 3 visual appearances and only 2 weight versions, but gets more complicated. Longest piece is loaded only on long extended low bed trailers, cargo mass is higher. Medium sized piece is loaded on shorter low bed trailers and long extended low loaders, but the cargo mass is lower for the former and higher for the latter. Shortest piece is loaded on shorter low loaders and cargo mass is lower. Possible bug - for long extended trailers of both types, this cargo may have weight of both long and short tower piece, despite always having visual appearance of the longer tower version for a given trailer type, you will find both versions in the cargo market. This will also result in lower price per distance for lower mass cargo version. Air Conditioners Listed as 3 separate versions, because of the weight difference. Possible bug - for long extended low bed trailers, this cargo may have weight of both 3 AC units and 2 AC units, despite always having visual appearance of 3 AC units. Similarly, for long extended low loaders, this cargo may have weight of both 2AC units and a single AC unit, despite always having visual appearance of 2 AC units. You will find both versions in the cargo market. This will also result in a lower price per distance for lower mass cargo version. Helicopter - 1808TX Low bed trailers come with a box beneath the helicopter, which seemingly holds blades for the rotors, this box is missing on low loaders, however, cargo mass remains identical. Dozer Crawl - Z35K Long extended trailers will also have disassembled dozer blade loaded on the trailer, but this is completely missing for shorter trailers. Despite this massive heavy piece of equipment gone, they somehow retain identical cargo mass. Hopefully, you will find it useful, should you need quick refference while looking for the right low bed or low loader trailer for your needs. Let me know if you spot any mistakes, I will also try to update, when neccessary. Catonaut
SCS forgot the extended version of the 1+4 lowloader. The short version doesn't really make any sense to me, but the long would be able to carry the loco due to the one more axle. The normal 4 ax ext can't do that. Just funny, SCS modelled a cargo for a specific trailer, but that trailer can't transport the cargo...
