  1. Daphne the DAF in her new paint job, ready to start haulin'! At journey's end in the Faroe Islands with some Viva buddies Keeping it simple with a brand new Scania S520, parked up in Romania before attending a convoy
  2. At journey's end in Dresden, after another enjoyable convoy with the Viva crew, despite the server issues affecting the start.
  3. I don't really have a set limit for myself as a whole, but as a rule of thumb, I'll stick to 90km/h max on smaller roads, and maybe lower if there is enough traffic. I've found it greatly reduces the chance of having an accident, as you have a lot more time to react and come to a stop if needed. On the other hand, if I'm on a motorway and it's not busy, I'll happily sit at the 110km/h limiter. Of course, I always stick to the limits on single player, as I try to keep it more realistic.
  4. I've always stuck with Michelin rubber, even if the Goodyear ones might perform slightly better. I'm a sucker for putting the Bibendums on my truck, so it'd be sacrilege to use anything else on my wheels!
  5. I'm excited for it, it'll be great for travelling, as the world hopefully returns to some form of normality. From what I've heard, you can choose to install Windows on it, rather than sticking with the default Steam OS / Linux, so you could probably even use it to play TruckersMP on the go! You can't really say what beats 'PC', as unlike consoles, there's not a single PC to compare against. In fact, the Steam Deck uses an AMD CPU/APU, so it is basically a PC, just in a portable form factor.
  6. Ah, you're making me jog my memory now! The oldest PC I remember playing ETS2 on was an old Dell desktop that I had, which had the following: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Nvidia GTX 750 1GB 8GB DDR2 It's not that much older than my current PC though, which is a 10 year old Dell, albeit a top of the line workstation when it was new. It still keeps up today, although a GPU upgrade would be nice. Intel Xeon W3670 (6 core 12 thread) Nvidia GTX 1050 2GB 24GB DDR3
  7. Hey all! Welcome to my humble thread, where I'll be sharing various screenshots, along with my skins and the like. Let's get it started! First off, here's some of my screenshots from events with Viva Trucking, taken in the last month or so. And to round off this first post, here's a couple of my beloved Scania 144L on single player, with it's mighty uptuned 600hp engine, and that sweet classic Scania whistle!
  8. Thanks to all the team at TMP for getting the 1.41 update out so quickly, and for fixing the issues within the first day too. You're all amazing.
  9. I did try that too, but there was no convoy progress, as I haven't touched that on this profile. However, I did try switching from windowed/borderless fullscreen to proper fullscreen, and I haven't had an issue since. I switched to the former in the first place because fullscreen was giving me crashes, but I guess it's the other way around now. Thanks everyone for your help and suggestions.
  10. I've checked, and nothing in there is set to read only, and I'm already running the game as administrator. Thanks for the suggestions though.
  11. Hi, I'm having an issue with my ETS2, where it's crashing after I've alt+tabbed out of it a few times. I've tried looking at the crash log, but I can't gather anything useful from it. It's available on Pastebin if anyone's able to understand it. I've also uploaded my regular log file too, but I can't see anything in there that would be causing it to keep crashing. If anyone knows of a solution, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks, DJ.
  12. It's not just you, it is an issue with TruckersMP with the 1.41 update. Other people are aware and I've made a support ticket, so it should be fixed soon. For now, just use caution at junctions and intersections.
  13. Lovely pictures! It's been a while since I've been down to the south coast, but I did visit Weymouth, Poole and Southampton back in 2019 with some friends. Here's some photos I got of the More fleet, along with one from Damory.
  14. I don't really have one favourite driver, as I like most of them to be honest. The standouts for me are Lando, Ricciardo, and Vettel. If we can include former drivers too, then Button. Some of my best memories of F1 as a kid were watching that beautiful Brawn tear up the track in 2009. As for teams, I'm cheering on McLaren.
