  1. Can you post the game.log.txt as well? This would allow us to find the exact reason of the crash in order to bring accurate solution to your issue.
  2. @old111, can you see the red message below the installation path? The launcher warns you that the path contains non-English characters. Change the path to one, which doesn't contain non-English characters. One suggested path is C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP , which just so happens to be the path used by old launcher. Once you change the path, let the launcher re-download the files. After the process is finished, try launching the game.
  3. Can you post the game logs from the most recent crash? This would potentially make it easier to locate the exact reason on the game crash issues you're having.
  4. Admiring the beautiful landscape of Grossglockner while paying respect to late @SpeedyTMP, who passed away in June of 2022.

The paintjob for the trailer can be found here:

  5. After checking the new rules, it seems that the anti-afk scripts are being outlawed from now on...

Não notei que isso estava ocorrendo, voce ficou á mais de 10 minutos parado sem ser chutado do servidor? é isso que entendi!!

  6. In Steam client, there's button, which will shut down the game. It's located in the same location as "Play" button when game's not running. There's another way of forcibly shutting down the game. Press Windows + R, then use any of the two commands: taskkill /im eurotrucks2.exe /f for ETS2 taskkill /im amtrucks.exe /f for ATS After pressing Enter key with any of the 2 commands in the Run dialog, the specified game process is forcibly shut down.
  7. There were UI rendering issues in the update. Chat was coming in and out, scoreboard was glitching up, even the player's tags had issues displaying. The update had to be rolled back. @tcntad
  8. I wonder why the new launcher wouldn't warn the user about invalid characters on the "Play" tab as well if they are detected... 🤔

  9. There were actually quite a few things, which got removed/changed: DirectX 9 support - removed after 1.36 got released, just to be replaced with DX11. Plenty of map changes, such as: Lille road changeover, Calais changeover, Partial Germany changeover, Switzerland changeover, etc. Changeover from OpenAL to FMOD, which made sounds more realistic, with drawback of making sound mods more difficult. As a mere fact, BeamNG.Drive also uses FMOD, however instead of sound banks, the game uses OGG files. It took a good while for FMOD issues to be fixed in TruckersMP.
  10. @Hyouki, you'll need to change the installation path. The recommended one is C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP , which is actually the path used by old launcher. After changing the path, press Save. After this, select "Play" tab, then perform file verification in the launcher. This can be done by pressing the button on the left from game selection list. This process will install all the needed files in the mentioned installation directory. Once the process is finished, press "Play".
  11. @Hyouki, Can you make a screenshot of launcher's settings tab? There's high chance that the installation path contains non-English characters.
  12. If you have TMPID display enabled in settings, you can look up player's profile to see if they're Patron with the highest tier, or not, as the highest Patron tier is only one being allowed to use exclusive alternating vehicles, along with specific paintjobs in TruckersMP.
  13. I wonder if there's anything that's not unexpected at this point...

  14. It seems that the tooltip of the "Play" button in the new launcher doesn't change. It constantly tells you that game is not installed, regardless of the fact that the game might be running at the moment.

  15. Can you post the game.log.txt file? This may give the clue on why you're having the issues. @Eboshimo777
  16. Also, in the same menu, which is mentioned by @[DJ Trans*038] djmtrlltc there's test function. You will get the microphone input feedback into selected playback audio device when activated. You should also check the headset itself. Usually if the headset has the microphone, check the mute switch. Switch it to opposite state, then use the test feature. Certain headsets will either indicate it physically on the volume control, or with the LED in the mic itself, which is the case for my G635. In the latter case, either press the Mic Mute button, which is located just above the volume roller, or swing the mic back into the headset, then swing it back from there, then use the test feature. If that doesn't work, make sure that the headset's mic is actually plugged in properly. You won't get anything out of the unplugged microphone.
  17. Can you post both last_crash.log(path: your Documents folder\ETS2MP\last_crash.log) and game.log.txt(Location: <Your homedir, usually your Documents folder>\Euro Truck Simulator 2\game.log.txt) files? With these files it should be possible to narrow down the reason of the crash you're having.
  18. If the game goes into singleplayer, check the TruckersMP install path in launcher. It mustn't have any non-English character in the whole path. You can set it to C:\ProgramData\TruckersMP, which happens to be the one used by old launcher. If the path doesn't exist, it will be created. After changing path, tell the launcher to update the game. @antoca
  19. There's small issue regarding the fatal error's message box. Message cannot be fully read, since it's in window's title. Window's actual title is in window's message. https://prnt.sc/OpCk9o0USehl Basically, someone has swapped values for the 2nd and 3rd parameters of MessageBox function.
  20. If such issue occurs while completely losing control of the vehicle for a brief moment, you'll need to make sure that the CPU isn't busy doing other things. If the issue only occurs while turning the wheel, you'll need to check the "Keys and buttons" submenu. You'll need to unassign "Steering left" and "Steering right" functions.
  21. Since the new launcher gives a warning if the path contains non-English characters, I think that such message should be visible also on default tab as well, as user will be able to easily miss it. Also, for some unusual reason, it's possible to create directories with reserved names by setting the installation path to contain such name.

Also, the "Cannot initialize client core" error has the text and dialog box title swapped. MessageBox function's 2nd and 3rd parameter are for the message text and dialog box title respectively. The whole message cannot be read, since you can't resize the error message.

  22. Are you sure that Grimes' Winter Physics addon is supported? The knowledge base article about the mod mentions the custom Winter Physics addon being used instead.
  23. I've tried to swap trailers and the game doesn't crash outright. Instead, it completely stops responding, requiring forcibly shutting down the game with Task Manager.
  24. When I was installing the new launcher, it did ask me whenever I wanted to create new desktop shortcut, or not. You might have selected "No" in the respective question box. The installer has added Start Menu link without any issues. @CJMAXiK
  25. Try moving -homedir parameter to be the last one in the list of command line parameters. If the path contains spaces, you'll need to enclose it in quotation marks. Right now the game made the homedir in F:\SCSSaves\Euro while ignoring "Truck", "Simulator", and "2". Also, you may need to update ProMods to newest version. Also, -64bit parameter isn't really needed as TruckersMP will default to 64-bit executable.
