Not sure I agree with this. If you are a verified VTC that typically means you are generally quite popular in the first place. New VTC’s that are starting out need the advertisement more than verified VTCs do.

The problem with TMP Is people want to use it for different BUT TMP are mainly about “Numbers”. They don’t offer a Simulation server, just servers with unrealistic speed! For example when in real life would a truck/trailer travel at 150km/h? TMP attitude is”if you want simulation go play SP or convoy” but honestly thats not the attitude or approach they should be showing. simulation is always gonna be biggest most popular, but you can’t implement a simulation based environment. They could easily revamp Simulation 2. If people wish to drive faster there is still other servers to do so! TMP need to consider different driving styles snd adjust servers accordingly to offer “something for everyone”

Suggestion Name: Add a careless driving rule Suggestion Description: My suggestion is to add an official rule called Careless Driving. This Rule is less serious as Reckless Driving and i feel it would better suit some people who get banned. Punishments for careless driving would be a little less severe as reckless driving Any example images: No Why should it be added?: Currently, there there is only reckless driving in the rules, which if you do anything wrong is what you are slapped with, but in reality there is a big difference between reckless driving and careless driving. Somebody that is driving recklessly tends to have the intent to cause damage to others or put others in danger, whereas somebody that drives carelessly is more about not being considerate about other drivers. implementing this will, I feel will make it a much fairer punishment, and it will make it more easier to understand what is classed as weightless or just careless instead of just being slapped with reckless even if that was not your intent.

I also want the simulation server to actually be a simulation! The problem is truckers MP are all about numbers and they just want as many people to drive together even if those people have got different driving styles. you’ve got the fact that punishments are too lenient to the point they are not even punishments anymore. What is a 14 day ban gonna do if people work and only go online couple days a week for couple of hours? It’s amazes me how many people want an actual simulation server with no nonsense but the people that can make it happen just do not want to listen.

But I disagree because you are then forcing people to drive in rain when the majority of people probably won’t want to.

Is the Map area Collision Zone? (Obviously apart from the standard companies etc) I’m also thinking I might use the car for this as I’ve never really driven it so it would be a nice change!

Personally, can’t see them making any adjustments until SCS software have completed the rebuild of the CD area. You’ve also got to remember the majority of people that drive that road actually enjoy sitting in a little bit of traffic so making too many changes to improve traffic for a lot of people takes away the enjoyment of that road where you don’t have to stop for anybody

I found it funny when they mentioned about missing important announcements but I personally can’t even read those announcements anyway because of the colour of the text (dark red)

I mean, of course they could update this page, but most people are literally on that page for about five seconds while they click download now so I wouldn’t imagine it would be a top priority for them. (They would also typically only visit this page once unless they uninstalled TMP)

The purpose of /fix is not to get your truck repaired for free, it is simply a convenient and quick way to fix your truck enough to get out of the way and potentially allow you to drive to the nearest F7 garage. (If you don’t wish to spawn there) I feel like it is any reasonable drivers responsibility to make sure that they are monitoring the wear elements and replace them when required (I personally replace when they reach 5%) As we damage is a gradual thing it gives you plenty of opportunity whenever you drive into a city and pass a garage to replace what is needed. So as for your suggestion, I don’t see it being useful or approved.

I would like to ask what the reasons for removing the ban length visibility was? Currently if someone is banned, it just says **This user is currently Banned**. I appreciate nobody else needs to know the specific date and time that the ban gets lifted, BUT I feel like showing the ban length has its advantages. Example **This user is currently banned for 21 days**. I feel like it is important to be able to see that game moderators are sticking to the Ban length based on active bans as mentioned in §2.8 - How bans are issued, and I feel it also acts as a deterrent that if you see someone already had 4 active bans (that is public info) that they do actually get banned for longer!

Looking at the suggestions section there is still 17 pages of suggestions totalling 401 outstanding suggestions going back to 2020. What steps are being taken to get through his backlog because it does not appear that this number of suggestions is actually decreasing.

Any idea when event team applications are likely to open again?? Looking back at past applications it was 2022 when event team applications were last open. This makes it very difficult to give new people who are generally interested a chance when Applications might only open once every couple of years.

Personally can't see it working. most people want to drive together and certain people might not want winter weather then you have a problem. Also a winter server when the winter mod is only supported for a couple of months too?

I would personally like to be able to hide the names above the trucks, but keep the tab menu open, so if I used the mouse to click on a truck, I would still see who that player is.

But why would you need to put any of that in your tag? Players should be following those rules anyway? I personally don’t even pay attention to this tag system. Or if you are a member of the event team for that convoy etc

Unfortunately, I can’t see this being accepted for the main reason. We already know SCS are working on a map DLC for this area which will then also affect promods and their content for quite some time whilst they merge their content with the new DLC.

Either way, my suggestion still stands. a quick and easy way to select cities with special characters in would be to add the function to be able to type the actual city like Dusseldorf (like trucky) this is way quicker than scrolling down the list OR entering an alt codes etc.

Although this command did work. it didn't insert the correct u as Düsseldorf has 2 dots above the u.

Even if this works, there should still be a simpler way.

Suggestion Name: Job dispatcher city names Suggestion Description: when using the job dispatcher to generate a job to or from a city that has a special character in its name (example ü, ù) you are unable to type that city name and have to manually scroll down the list of cities to select the specific city you want (Düsseldorf) if you start to type Du, it will not recognise that city name because of the special characters. my suggestion is to allow you to be able to type the actual city and it will show up even with the special characters. Some people also use truck dispatcher, That allows you to actually type in the city name and it will take you straight to that city unlike TMP dispatcher.

simple suggestion but deffo a useful one!

Suggestion Name: Make it harder for Car trolls Suggestion Description: Firstly, there has been a lot of suggestions previously about how to deal with Car trolls, to the point it's hard to remember or know what's been accepted/rejected, but people's opinions about car trolls still stands. It's important to remember that NOT everybody who drives cars are trolling, and these people shouldn't be punished by removing the cars etc. What I believe is important is to make it harder to create a TMP account JUST to get access to the cars. I have 3 suggestions, which should be implemented for players to get access to the cars. 1. Players HAVE to have an activated TMP Account 2. Players must NOT have more than 2/3 active bans *over 12 months". 3. TMP Accounts MUST be at least 60 Days old Any example images: no Why it should be added: What my suggest does is make it harder for players to ONLY buy ETS2 or download TMP to drive Cars, after all this is a multiplayer platform for TRUCKERS. I Strongly believe implementing the above will reduce Car Trolls (I'm aware you'll never stop it), but it also doesn't affect those who enjoy and drive them correctly. Let's Make TMP a SAFE and ENJOYABLE place for everybody! everybody is sick of car trolls, so TMP can make it harder and make a lot of people happier in the process...

If anything, I would suggest removing this gas station completely and using the space (make it bigger) to create a decent size truck meet up place with a TMP logo you can take pics in front of etc. obviously there would have to be some sort of road leading off C-D, but TMP definitely lacks a decent size space, especially round CD for players to meet up, take pics together etc that is big enough to accommodate the amount of players!
