      Actually no. Clinton won the popular vote, so actually more people voted for her than Trump. However, the Clinton supporters are unhappy that even though more people voted for her, Trump won. That's why the protests.

      I'm with @Penguin on this one. Yes, I do known that Hillary got more votes from the public BUT that's how the system works, if you don't like it move somewhere you like the system or make a petition. I also believe that President-Elect Trump plans to change the Electoral College system.

       

      Also, most of these protesters are part of the 44% of people that didn't vote. That's like like sending someone to the shop and saying "surprise me" and then complaining cos they got you something you don't like!

       

      44% had the vote and blew it. Stop complaining and get on with the next 4 years
