I am very curious to know how the new sounds will work on multiplayer. Hopefully the engines and horns will not be too loud when there is a big traffic jam lol

It's been 4 years since I've received a ban. FeelsGoodMan.
Hopefully I can keep this no ban streak for as long as possible
I like to keep my ban history public because I like to show how much I've reformed from my shameful, edgy 2015 days...

Watching 2015/2016 ETS2MP videos gives me a nostalgic feel now. Who else was there when Rotterdam/Europort was the most popular place? Good times

Guys, I highly recommend not to use the physics part of the winter mod.
The chances of you being banned for reckless driving will skyrocket.
A reminder that installing the physics part of the mod is completely optional.
Everyone is flying around on the roads right now.
While funny to watch the admins are going to be flooded with reports more than ever thanks to this mod.

I'm happy that Euro Truck Simulator is finally compatible with DirectX 11. Hopefully we will all notice a performance increase in multiplayer at the busiest of areas (Calais/Duisburg ofc).
Better anti-aliasing is a welcoming change aswell.

It makes me sad that there are only under 100 players playing ATS multiplayer right now.
I remember when ATS multiplayer first launched and it was full... the traffic around Oxnard was crazy... good times

The amount of VRAM displayed in the system requirements for this mod should be at least 2GB these days imo now that there are thousands of people playing daily.
It's probably very difficult to play with a 1GB VRAM graphics card... unless you really want to watch a slideshow in the busiest of areas.

What should be shown is what Graphics Card (GTX/Radeon) is recommended (for people to base off of) and the CPU should have a CPU such as Intel i3 or AMD FX for people to base off of instead of dual core or 1GB vram.
Because you can have that GHz, dual core and 1GB vram but still might not be fast enough. For example, my CPU is an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core at 3.5GHz, some CPUs are Dual Cores that run at 3.5GHz and can out perform this CPU, like the Intel Pentium G4560.
(My CPU can barely run ETS2 to begin with, so cores or clock speed aren't gonna be good for requirements)
