    Snow physics

I saw a car spinning around like a helicopter too. They can't stop unless they crash or alt + f4 lol
  2. Hey I just want to point out there is a workshop mod that enables you to get unlimited money and experience. It's super easy. You just do a delivery with the mod enabled and boom you have all the moneys and EXP you want. I do not recommend downloading cheat engine as that software is loaded with malware. Here's the link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1105656290&searchtext=unlimited
  3. In my opinion cars should've only been for admins, as they were originally planned to be. Ever since they added cars reckless driving has skyrocketed. I personally do not want to see more intensives for players to drive around in cars. A van might be cool though.
  4. Suggestion Name: Create a police paintjob for trucks for admins to use. Suggestion Description: A police paintjob for the trucks should be similar looking to the one found on admin cars so players will have little chance get confused. If possible there should also be a police beacon and a siren for trucks. Any example images: I guess this will do. This is a police truck from the UK. Source: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/police-use-own-articulated-lorry-to-check-106535 Why should it be added?: This will give the admins freedom of choice to drive either a car or a truck, if they want to drive around as police using a police paintjob. Not only that police trucks would be much more visible to players from a distance.
  5. Let's be honest here. 99% of players who travel from Calais - Duisburg are only there for the traffic. Not for deliveries. The C - D road is almost certainly the main attraction that brings in more and more new players which is very healthy for the mod of course. I don't even think the admins enforce the "useless traffic" rule anymore because there are just so many who are disobeying that rule by being on that road. They'd have to ban over 20% of the playerbase. That simply will not happen. If there were suddenly a collision zone that covers most of both cities the traffic will go away sure, but the community will only find a different area to drive around that doesn't have a collision zone, then they will cause mass traffic and chaos there. It will be a endless cycle. There isn't anything the developers can do about the traffic unless they make all of the map a non-collision zone. I think it will be very unhealthy for the mod if the devs decide to do something about the C - D road anyways. They would be removing the main attraction of multiplayer that is bringing in more new players than ever. I hope they realise that too.
  6. In my 4+ years of playing online I've never been interested in a VTC until now. I really want to try one out to see what it's really like. I feel like I'm missing out on a important feature of multiplayer. But the problem for me is that every single one requires me to have the discord software. I just don't want to install it on my PC. I like to keep my PC clean and not full of software so I can get the best possible performance while gaming. If there are any VTCs out there that has over 20 members that doesn't require you to have Discord I'd be happy to apply.
  7. The render distance of player dots on the map is a great change. It's such a useful feature that prevents a lot of accidents. Thanks for the updates as usual This is the best community made mod for a game I've ever played.
  8. Woo! Thanks for the F7 fix, everyone will appreciate it very much.
  9. It's been 4 years since I've received a ban. FeelsGoodMan.

Hopefully I can keep this no ban streak for as long as possible :D

I like to keep my ban history public because I like to show how much I've reformed from my shameful, edgy 2015 days...

  10. Watching 2015/2016 ETS2MP videos gives me a nostalgic feel now. Who else was there when Rotterdam/Europort was the most popular place? Good times :)

Miss Rotterdam/Europort, those where good times :D^_^

  11. I rarely report players who say "sorry" if they hit me by accident.
  12. Guys, I highly recommend not to use the physics part of the winter mod.

The chances of you being banned for reckless driving will skyrocket.

A reminder that installing the physics part of the mod is completely optional.

Everyone is flying around on the roads right now.

While funny to watch the admins are going to be flooded with reports more than ever thanks to this mod.

  13. I'm happy that Euro Truck Simulator is finally compatible with DirectX 11. Hopefully we will all notice a performance increase in multiplayer at the busiest of areas (Calais/Duisburg ofc).:)

Better anti-aliasing is a welcoming change aswell.

  14. It makes me sad that there are only under 100 players playing ATS multiplayer right now.

I remember when ATS multiplayer first launched and it was full... the traffic around Oxnard was crazy... good times :)

Players like me are waiting for more content to drop before we begin to play it, but yeah it is sad how you don't really see a lot of people playing it now, but it happens!

sadly I didn't own ATS back then so missed it :( looks like fun :D

  15. The amount of VRAM displayed in the system requirements for this mod should be at least 2GB these days imo now that there are thousands of people playing daily.

It's probably very difficult to play with a 1GB VRAM graphics card... unless you really want to watch a slideshow in the busiest of areas.

You can't even get cards that are 1gb anymore, the lowest is 2gb which is what i have. 4gb ram ha you need that just to run win 10 hence why 8gb is now the standard

What should be shown is what Graphics Card (GTX/Radeon) is recommended (for people to base off of) and the CPU should have a CPU such as Intel i3 or AMD FX for people to base off of instead of dual core or 1GB vram.
Because you can have that GHz, dual core and 1GB vram but still might not be fast enough.

For example, my CPU is an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core at 3.5GHz, some CPUs are Dual Cores that run at 3.5GHz and can out perform this CPU, like the Intel Pentium G4560.

(My CPU can barely run ETS2 to begin with, so cores or clock speed aren't gonna be good for requirements)
