  1. I am very curious to know how the new sounds will work on multiplayer. Hopefully the engines and horns will not be too loud when there is a big traffic jam lol

    1. Jagman

I hope so as well, one thing im afraid of happening is that the new sound engine will be overwhelmed by multiple truck sounds

either way the new sounds are not good at all :( gonna really miss the old Renault Premium engine and horn sound and the old Scania horn :(

  2. Hey I just want to point out there is a workshop mod that enables you to get unlimited money and experience. It's super easy. You just do a delivery with the mod enabled and boom you have all the moneys and EXP you want. I do not recommend downloading cheat engine as that software is loaded with malware. Here's the link https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1105656290&searchtext=unlimited
  3. Suggestion Name: Create a police paintjob for trucks for admins to use. Suggestion Description: A police paintjob for the trucks should be similar looking to the one found on admin cars so players will have little chance get confused. If possible there should also be a police beacon and a siren for trucks. Any example images: I guess this will do. This is a police truck from the UK. Source: https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/local-news/police-use-own-articulated-lorry-to-check-106535 Why should it be added?: This will give the admins freedom of c
  4. Let's be honest here. 99% of players who travel from Calais - Duisburg are only there for the traffic. Not for deliveries. The C - D road is almost certainly the main attraction that brings in more and more new players which is very healthy for the mod of course. I don't even think the admins enforce the "useless traffic" rule anymore because there are just so many who are disobeying that rule by being on that road. They'd have to ban over 20% of the playerbase. That simply will not happen. If there were suddenly a collision zone that covers most of both cities the traffic will go
  5. The render distance of player dots on the map is a great change. It's such a useful feature that prevents a lot of accidents. Thanks for the updates as usual This is the best community made mod for a game I've ever played.
  6. Woo! Thanks for the F7 fix, everyone will appreciate it very much.
  7. It's been 4 years since I've received a ban. FeelsGoodMan.

Hopefully I can keep this no ban streak for as long as possible :D

I like to keep my ban history public because I like to show how much I've reformed from my shameful, edgy 2015 days...

  8. Watching 2015/2016 ETS2MP videos gives me a nostalgic feel now. Who else was there when Rotterdam/Europort was the most popular place? Good times :)

Miss Rotterdam/Europort, those where good times :D^_^

  9. Guys, I highly recommend not to use the physics part of the winter mod.

The chances of you being banned for reckless driving will skyrocket.

A reminder that installing the physics part of the mod is completely optional.

Everyone is flying around on the roads right now.

While funny to watch the admins are going to be flooded with reports more than ever thanks to this mod.

  10. I'm happy that Euro Truck Simulator is finally compatible with DirectX 11. Hopefully we will all notice a performance increase in multiplayer at the busiest of areas (Calais/Duisburg ofc).:)

Better anti-aliasing is a welcoming change aswell.

  11. It makes me sad that there are only under 100 players playing ATS multiplayer right now.

I remember when ATS multiplayer first launched and it was full... the traffic around Oxnard was crazy... good times :)

    1. Fezz98

Players like me are waiting for more content to drop before we begin to play it, but yeah it is sad how you don't really see a lot of people playing it now, but it happens!

sadly I didn't own ATS back then so missed it :( looks like fun :D

  12. The amount of VRAM displayed in the system requirements for this mod should be at least 2GB these days imo now that there are thousands of people playing daily.

It's probably very difficult to play with a 1GB VRAM graphics card... unless you really want to watch a slideshow in the busiest of areas.

    1. ScaniaFan89

You can't even get cards that are 1gb anymore, the lowest is 2gb which is what i have. 4gb ram ha you need that just to run win 10 hence why 8gb is now the standard

    2. SgtBreadStick

What should be shown is what Graphics Card (GTX/Radeon) is recommended (for people to base off of) and the CPU should have a CPU such as Intel i3 or AMD FX for people to base off of instead of dual core or 1GB vram.
Because you can have that GHz, dual core and 1GB vram but still might not be fast enough.

For example, my CPU is an AMD FX-6300 Six-Core at 3.5GHz, some CPUs are Dual Cores that run at 3.5GHz and can out perform this CPU, like the Intel Pentium G4560.

(My CPU can barely run ETS2 to begin with, so cores or clock speed aren't gonna be good for requirements)

    3. ScaniaFan89

From Steam, applies to both games

      OS: Windows 7

Processor: Dual core CPU 2.4 GHz

      Memory: 4 GB RAM

Graphics: GeForce GTS 450-class (Intel HD 4000)

Hard Drive: 3 GB available space

      OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 64-bit

Processor: Quad core CPU 3.0 GHz

      Memory: 6 GB RAM

Graphics: GeForce GTX 760-class (2 GB)

Hard Drive: 3 GB available space

  13. Just noticed It's been over 3 years since my last ban, yay! Hopefully I can continue being a good boy for another 3. =)

... I've had a dark past as you can see by my ban history lol, I was an idiot back then

If you get another, the big guy himself will send coal instead.

      Drive safe!

      Warm Regards

  14. Suggestion Name: Add a option to remove player tags on top of player's trucks/cars Suggestion Description: Seeing other people's tags is not necessary for me and I'd like to remove as much text clutter possible while in high populated areas. Any example images: Why should it be added?: I disabled player avatars because they were distracting to me and all the text colors on top of players trucks are just as distracting and kind of immersion breaking in a simulation game. An option in the graphics section of the settings to simply turn off player tags would be nice.
