TruckersMP does not make exceptions when it comes to age restrictions which also has legal reasons. However, you can already apply before you turn 16 years old - you just can't be onboarded before. This means that if a recruitment you're interested in opens 1-2 months in advance of your birthday, you may apply and kindly ask the managers to keep you on the list. Processing applications takes multiple weeks or up to a month and there is a waiting list you can be put on, so that shouldn't be a problem. In fact, I've done this several times when recruiting people for different teams and I assume that's still possible. Also, I highly suggest you to use the time you have left wisely to prepare for your application and to gain some reputation in the community. Try to be active on the forum and on Discord; this will be a big advantage when applying and some activity across our platforms is expected in most subteams.

Have you tried reinstalling TruckersMP completely? This will make communication with you easier and the Support Team can check where your files are located.

I've never had a big accident in my life so far but I came around many fatal crashes as I'm part of the fire department. It's always worrying to see that many people do not offer any help and in some cases, prefer taking selfies with the crash scene instead. In my opinion, a first-aid course should be mandatory every few years for all drivers to extend their licenses. I've just recently come to a motorcycle crash where a biker crashed into a trailer of a tractor and was trapped under one of the tires. I became aware of the accident while working in my garden and decided to drive there to offer help, it was roughly 1 km away from where I live on a busy road. Nobody of the people helped the trapped person, instead, they just stood far away from the scene and talked with each other. They haven't even called the emergency until I approached minutes later. I had to help the person, call the fire department/ambulance, show the ambulance where the person is, and everything else. The others couldn't even secure the crash scene. That's something I'll never understand.

With the community survey, TruckersMP sets a new standard for community participation and shows that the opinion of all players influence the decisions made. Hello everyone, with this announcement we want to let you know that we have received a high number of Support inquiries due to the error mentioned above. It looks like this: Our Supporters, Support Managers, and Developers are currently working hard to find a solution for this that would work in all cases, however, so far reinstalling Windows has been the only solution that worked in the majority of cases dealt with by us. Almost all users who face this issue use Avira Antivirus but uninstalling it has in many cases not led to the problem being solved. If you get the above-mentioned error message when trying to start TruckersMP, we suggest the following steps: 1) Remove Avira Security completely from your computer. After that, do a full reinstallation of TruckersMP. 2) Make sure that you use the most recent version of the .NET Framework. You can find the recommended version here: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework/net48 3) Check if there are any available Windows updates and install them. 4) Create a text file called tmp.txt and write inside the following: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319] "SchUseStrongCrypto"=dword:00000001 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\.NETFramework\v4.0.30319] "SchUseStrongCrypto"=dword:00000001 When saving the file, change the name of it to “tmp.reg”. After saving, run the executed file and agree to the changes that it will make to the registry. Restart the PC and try to update the launcher. 5) Reset your Windows system completely and make sure to save all important files before doing that. These are all recommendations we can currently give you. If none of these help or if you do not want to reset your Windows system, you have to wait for us to find a different solution for this issue or to fix the issue altogether.
