Add-On Team Recruitment From the 23rd of December 2022 until the 23rd of January 2023 we are looking for talented individuals to join our Add-On Team. As a member of the TruckersMP Add-On Team, you will be creating official content for our platform. This content could be anything from vehicles to scenery objects. You will be within a team of passionate and creative individuals working to create quality add-ons for our community. You must be able to work well in a team and make high-quality content. Core Requirements: Familiarity with TruckersMP and its rules Must have a website account that is at least 12 months old Must have a forum account Must be at least 16 years old No bans or forum/Discord punishments within the last 12 months Must have no more than 3 bans in the last 24 months Good behaviour across our communication channels Must be sufficiently proficient in English (written) Good communication skills Resilient, active and flexible Ability to work within a team and on your own at times Eager to learn and progress your knowledge Organised and adaptive Be able to accept constructive criticism You should have knowledge of at least one of the following: 3D Modelling Texture Creation Animations using Blender Map editing (using the map editor built into Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator) Units (also known as definition files used by Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator) Save editing You must meet at least one of the following criteria and one of the additional skills mentioned above: Knowledge about player trends in TruckersMP that would help when planning content Examples of your previous modifications (for Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator) You will be expected to provide examples of your work in your application Using game editors and other 3rd party programs (Provide proof or describe in detail your experience) This position does not require any specific language skills, however understandable English is still a requirement as per the Core Requirements. Suggestion Name: changing players name size Suggestion Description: We use low resolution to get more fps on bad computers. Player names on the screen become very large when using low resolution. Therefore, Truckersmp may have the ability to change the size of player names and the ability to change the chat size. Suggestion Name: Private Data Through API Key Suggestion Description: It would be great if we can access some private VTC related data like Applications, member history in the VTC like role changes etc through api key. It would be great if we can add new application through api post method also directly through a VTC website. Why should it be added?: This will be a nice feature to get applications and other private data on a VTC's Website or drivershub admin pannels.

v1.1.7 - 2022-12-20 - Updated the application icon - Fixed duplicate notifications - Fixed notification icon reappearing without new notifications - Added a warning for buggy installation paths in the settings page. We're investigating a long term fix for the bug causing the game to launch in singleplayer when these kinds of installation paths are in use.

Suggestion Name: Calais to Duisburg railway crossing rework Suggestion Description: I would like to rework the C-D road railway crossing. I've seen the TMP team do a lot of work around the C-D road in the past few years, and it has really improved the user experience. This is commendable for sure! I would like to suggest the next step for possibly improving this route. I looked around previous suggestions and saw people asking for teleportation pads or similar. A possible rework for the crossing could be to implement a bridge which goes over the railway crossing. The TMP team has expertly reworked intersections before in the map, and I see having a bridge over the railway crossing as a great alternative to removing the crossing entirely. This would allow traffic to pass free flowing over the railway crossing and bypass the difficult wait times at this point on the most popular TMP route. Any example images: None Why should it be added? I, like many other players have waited in queues of vehicles before the railroad crossing between Calais and Duisburg. I've seen wait times of up to 20 minutes with traffic backing up past the reworked Brussels turbine interchange, with averages around peak times of 10 minutes. This can really add up and considering hundreds of players queue here daily countless hours have been spent waiting at this intersection. I feel that we could really improve the user experience by implementing a few changes to this railroad crossing.

These people deal with both website and in-game reports, helping to keep the roads safe for everyone, ensuring the community can enjoy the best experience on our servers.
