Jedzry
The suggestion is stated on the title. At peak times, I would lag really heavily while passing through rotterdam to go to europoort. this is really annoying for me and including other players with bad computer/internet. I'm guessing creating another lane that would avoid going through rotterdam would be great. Thanks for lending me your time!
The Scottish Lad
The MP team won't make any changes to the map because it will violate SCS's rights as that's I think
Sharp14
5 minutes ago, MasterDimz said: because it will violate SCS's rights Well that's ridiculous. They can modify the map if they want to, but the change will need VERY good reasoning behind it because you'll have to download the entire map again IIRC. The Imaginative Lad
You can use other ports such as Calais which takes you to Dover. A small diversion, but much less traffic than Rotterdam. 1 Have a problem with your ban? Make an appeal
The Scottish Lad
@SharpOB Well it's true. The MP team don't want to get sued or anything like that by SCS software. I think that when SCS stop support ETS2, the MP team can do anything
Guest
We won't make map changes because we said so, not because we'll get sued(we won't, modifications of maps is covered in their EULA and is permissible, even to redistribute and charge for like Promods). El1teZombiezHD
Moved to Suggestions Please update your post with the suggestions format. This would be a nice idea so that we dont have to pass through the laggiest city in MP and can get to the port without having to deal with the lag. However as said above the MP devs will not edit the base map so this will not happen. Only difference is that you're taking the train instead of a boat of course.
mattfleaydaly
See even if Europort is busy, there shouldn't be an issue if you take it easy and have patience. I've seen (also recorded) a number of people who don't want to wait when there is a heavy amount of traffic, so they decide to use the other side of the road to pass everyone, thus causing major crashes which makes the issue worse. Whilst this is a common thing, There have also been times where the traffic is very high at Europort, but is still flowing because of people taking it easy. A bit of advice is to use the TruckersMP Live Map (If on EU#2 Server), and to just monitor the traffic to see if it is somewhat flowing before you enter the area. Apologies if this have been slightly off topic from the initial post, but hopefully it somewhat helps Cheers all, Have a great day! Norbi
-1 for me. I bet that most people go through Rotterdam to experience the traffic there as other routes are much less busy. Adding another lane would get the situation worse as people would have to watch 2 lanes when merging instead of one. Also, problems occur mostly at the intersection near the port and the additional lane wouldn't solve that either.

Prime
If you want to avoid Rotterdam you can always go to Calais or Ijmuiden to make the crossing to the UK. Regards Prime Service & Data Analyst
Killua // Ireland ^_^
I don't see the point as there are plenty of other options to avoid Europort and Rotterdam. Just go to Calais or Ijmuiden
