@Whiterock2six ATSMP currently supports game version 1.1.1.3s. Therefore you've to select the following beta:

I have the same problem . I can not play multiplayer for 2 months with my profile

I folow the steps and afther it finish it saying at me "disk read error" so what can i do?

@terrorgame2001 If Steam shows this error, have a look at the following Steam support page for more information on what to do: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9709-FKCB-4230&l=english

Another possibility is to unselect the beta in the Steam overlay, wait until the game got updated and select the requested beta again.

I never want to downgrade because knowing my luck the update would come out the next day.

SCS has released update for ETS2. Downgrading is now needed in order to play multiplayer.

Does the version that we select to downgrade to change as new updates are released, or do we always select the same one? There are newer versions to select from than what is on this guide..

@Tristinw524 It changes after each new update. For example after next ETS2 update the version you downgrade to is 1.25.x which is the latest version now. Of course assuming that SCS doesn't release another update before multiplayer has support for 1.25.x.
