What small features would you want in ETS2 and ATS? My comments are in description

First of all I absolutly love ETS2 and ATS. More of a fan to ETS2 tho

I was driving down the road and just had this thought and i thought I would share it with you.

I would love to see some sort of dust system that could be switched on/off in settings (for people who wouldnt like) While also adding a wind screen wash button so that your window would collect dust from being on motorways all day long and you can wash it off. Just a small idea that I thought would be fun to see.

Also when driving on ATS during the early sunrise or late sunset you get blinded by the sun. You do on ETS2 however it isnt so bad. What would be amazing to see is movable visors like the way the windows operate (Hold button and comes down/ goes up)

These are just a few little things i wanted to share with you and I would love to know your views on those 2 ideas but also if you have any suggestions of your own, I would love to read them

Hey, a great future would've been in Photo mode, that you can disable the viewfinder so you can use Reshade to make better pictures.

I would love to have the ability to actually get out of the truck and manually fill it up. It makes the game a lot more realistic and I feel ETS2 and ATS may have the capability to do so. I can imagine how hard it might be for the TMP development team to allow compatibility of this update. 

 

edit: i don't really know how small of an update this would be but yeah

Seriously? The view finder does not get captured on the photo if you use the capture button. Must be your own mistake to use F12 screenshot hotkey.

i mean, if you use reshade then you can't capture it with the default photomode but if you just press prtscn then you capture the reshade.

so if the viewfinder can get disabled then you only have to press right mousebutton and prtscn.

Sorry, didn't know photomode can't capture it, I guess then the only option for you is to use developer camera (0) instead.

However you can try searching on SCS forums, I found this topic with link to a mod: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=185799. Not sure if it still works, or you can try making one yourself, but obviously it will only work in singleplayer.

I'd like to see tachographs being introduced to all trucks in ETS2.

The tachgraph should consider the Regulation (EC) 561/2006 and Directive 2002/15/EC.

- the chance to chose between LED and Halogen lights (so it will look whiteblue..ish & yellow)
- something that shows how many characters you can type in chat until it cuts the message

- the usual, more chances to customize your truck (+interiur)

I would add random failures to the trucks... like overheating while hauling heavy loads if you're pushing it too much so you would have to slow down or wait for a while, tire punctures/blown and having to call road services or keep going with negative stability. Little things.

There are a lot of cool ideas here! My feature wish list is very small.. Just give me the ability to turn the air conditioner with the respective sound effect when it's +31 in game And merge Sisl's mega pack into game too
There are a lot of different wishes of mine of course, like better skybox, but let's just start with those for now

I have an opinion for the multiplayer modification. I think that a game money system would be good. People will be able to have some privileges related to their cargos and trucks. This change also will able to support TruckersMP management for more updated and changes.

I would like SCS to add an option so that trucks could be washed, it is very random but it is one thing that would be funny to the game. And in the photo mode, I would add a direct button to take the photos and not be clicking the box all the time

I don't know if this feature will come in the future but we only operate the wipers in rainy weather, for example, the window wiping feature may come to clean the glass of our truck or car and whenever come to the gas staion, the feature of getting out of the truck  or the car comes: coffee, lunch, break, toilet break or dinner so I mean the hunger of the driver, and the feature of getting out of the vehicle while getting gas and filling our diesel ourselves can come. Small features that I call such may come.
