happymeso Posted June 7, 2021 Report Posted June 7, 2021 As real as possible. Low trailer and truck stability, stop in every sign and red light and I mostly run wot contracts so max speed is 65mph or slower according to the speed limit. You get used to it. Gullbrann Posted June 7, 2021 Report Posted June 7, 2021 Hey there! I'm trying to drive as real as possible and following the speedlimit etc. I'm also always backing up when delivering my trailer. Kind Regards: Gullbrann
Enisteci Posted June 7, 2021 Report Posted June 7, 2021 Only stopping red lights when people arround me...
Darmok1980 Posted June 16, 2021 Report Posted June 16, 2021 Depends on if I am playing for fun or grinding miles. If grinding miles I run 75mph from Washington to New Mexico and slow down just enough to make tight corners unless I see a blue dot. If I am playing for fun I tend to do the speed limit and stop at all Red lights and scales though I still slow roll through stop signs.
Bootsy83191 Posted June 17, 2021 Report Posted June 17, 2021 I normally run 65 on highways. If I'm by myself I'll stop at weigh stations, but I'll normally pass them if I'm with a larger convoy to save time. As for red lights, I'll only stop when others are around. Realistic parking is always on.
/:\ Soniic /:\ Posted June 20, 2021 Report Posted June 20, 2021 I started a challenge that I found here in the forum and I added to go at the speed that the gps indicates to me. At the moment minimum of 50km/h and maximum of 80km/h, I respect the signs and traffic lights, whether or not there are people.
.Borja Posted June 22, 2021 Report Posted June 22, 2021 I always respect the road signs no matter that there are no players near me, that gives it more realism.
Oscar' Posted June 22, 2021 Report Posted June 22, 2021 I try to use it as seriously as possible. ---------------------------------------
Guest Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 Im Following Speed Limits And All Traffic Rules.
Nightmare_se Posted June 23, 2021 Report Posted June 23, 2021 I do not drive full on simulation but I keep it to 70mph cruise speed on the Interstates and Freeways. Through the cities I back off and take it a little cautiously. If there is no one around I roll through the red lights.
BudokanTB Posted June 30, 2021 Report Posted June 30, 2021 I don't always obey the traffic-rules. But I never drive at a speed that is unsafe. Often I drive with light cargo which means I don't have to think that much about my speed because it's always impossible to tip over with my settings. I stop at Red lights or stop signs if there are drivers around. I always have livemap open on a 2nd monitor, and also even though is someone has mentioned earlier you can't see a staff member on tab if they're logged in, then still leave a dot on your navigation. So with livemap and looking at my navigation I can pretty fast judge if it's safe to go through a intersection even though there is a stop sign or the light is red. |
Guest Posted June 30, 2021 Report Posted June 30, 2021 I obey traffic lights and use blinkers/hazards that's all I'd say me being realistic while driving on ETS2/ATS. When the road is empty, I do drive at tmp's max speed limit. For the most part I try to be realistic when there are people nearby.
Syncrosonix Posted July 10, 2021 Report Posted July 10, 2021 I run the traffic lights and stop signs as long as there isn't anybody coming. Other than that, I tend to drive like I do in real life. Yes, the jake brakes are always ON.
Fuaad Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 I always try to drive realistically. Because its a real life simulation game. I always try to follow every signs at busy cities, use zig zag country roads, take medium loads.
Driver_Pneuma Posted July 14, 2021 Report Posted July 14, 2021 I drive normally, as realistic as I can. And as far as speed limit goes, I only go 5 over max.
