Hello truckers and carrers! () It seems that a lot of you want to use the Scout car mod in singleplayer. Either just for fun, or to solve issues; like your car turning into an old Scania when you load your multiplayer profile in singleplayer. I have a simple solution that doesn't require you to download anything. This solution allows the game to use the files of the mod that came with the TMP client. It works by creating a symbolic link in windows, which will allow the game to find the files from multiplayer and use them in singleplayer. It works for both ETS2 and ATS. This will also make sure you always use the latest version released with the TMP client, until the devs change the file names or add additional files. There are two requirements: You need to have administrator rights on your computer and you need to have file extensions enabled. To enable file extensions, check this guide: https://www.thewindowsclub.com/show-file-extensions-in-windows Start by creating a new text (.txt) file. It doesn't matter where it's located or how you name it. Open the file and paste the following text: mklink %USERPROFILE%\Documents\"Euro Truck Simulator 2"\mod\sh_skoda_car.scs %PROGRAMDATA%\TruckersMP\data\shared\mods\sh_skoda_car.mp mklink %USERPROFILE%\Documents\"American Truck Simulator"\mod\sh_skoda_car.scs %PROGRAMDATA%\TruckersMP\data\shared\mods\sh_skoda_car.mp mklink %USERPROFILE%\Documents\"Euro Truck Simulator 2"\mod\skoda_car.scs %PROGRAMDATA%\TruckersMP\data\ets2\mods\skoda_car.mp mklink %USERPROFILE%\Documents\"American Truck Simulator"\mod\skoda_car.scs %PROGRAMDATA%\TruckersMP\data\ats\mods\skoda_car.mp pause Save the file and change the filename from anything.txt to anything.bat Right-click on the file and execute it as an administrator. Administrator rights are required because the Scout files used by the TMP client are located in a system folder. If you don't own both of the games, you will see 2 errors. That's normal because this batch file tries to enable the mod for both games, regardless whether you own them. Now start the game and check the mod manager. You should see two new mods: "sh_skoda_car" and "skoda_car". Enable them both and you will be able to use the car in singleplayer. Happy trucking carring!

Suggestion Name: Block Private Messages by ID Suggestion Description: As some encountered (also I) that players wont stop PMing you you have to block pms with /blockpm, unfortunately, it also blocks MSGs from friends you are driving with. I'd suggest for this like /blockpm [ID], so you can decide if you want to block all players or just the given one. (As soon as the player leaves, the ID will be deleted, the player not). Any example images: n/a Why should it be added?: It should be added so you can block PMs playerwise and can continue chatting with the friend you are running with and don't have the annoying messages from another player (as example because you reported him)

Suggestion Name: Chat improvment Suggestion Description: When someone writes your ingame ID it shows up a little bit colored in the chat, so you can notice it better. Any example images: no. Why should it be added?: When someone is writing something special, something important and mention my ID in the chat i can notice it better. Hope ya know what i mean

Suggested name: Car LED yellow flashing warning light for the new version of the player Suggestions: The spiral warning light in the game is out of date, and the new module should be modified Any example picture: This example is the same as the flashing of the warning light model used by the host Why do you want to add it? : The administrator uses the blue LED flashing warning light, and the player and the user have been using the outdated spiral warning light.

Suggestion Name: New option to report players Suggestion Description: I'd really appreciate it if it was possible to click on player's name tags while having the tab open and right clicking on the screen to get the yellow mouse. Any example images: - Why should it be added?: This would be really useful to report someone in a high populated area as you can simply click on his name, as the player stands right by your side.

Suggestion Name: Highlight player that come closer Suggestion Description: In the tab "Players near you" it would be nice, if players would marked green, if the distance is increasing and marked red, if the distance is decreasing.. Any example images: - Why should it be added?: Easy seeing, which players are near. Good on intersections to check what you see.

Suggestion Name: A sort of player to player job Suggestion Description: Something like players can work to another player's company, instead of BOTs. Any example images: No. Why should it be added?: Some sort of panel with jobs requests and job offers, so the players can offer and request jobs from another player's company.
