The caravan trailer isn't supported on ATS. It will crash the game because it will try to read data path that is valid in ETS 2 but not existing in ATS. Sorry for the inconvenience. Hopefully an update will fix that issue.

Do you have any DLC from family share? They may not work and you might have to disable them: Open Steam and go in library Right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 and click View Downloadable Content Uncheck any DLC that you do not own Please let us know if the problem still persists or if that fixed it.

Does it only crash at the port? Or in the Calais city? Does it happen when there is a lot of players near you?

I would not recommend going below 1 ton. Rules state: " It is permitted to save edit the weight of trailers, the weight must be above 1 tonne (1000kg). " I already answered someone else concerning the cargo mass, you just need to remove the &11111111 and place 1000 (or higher). That is true. The chassis has its own weight that you cannot change. From the looks of it, the brick trailer (dynamite, explosives, bricks, etc.) is the lightest trailer (5500 kg of base weight). Then you have an extra mass which is called cargo mass. So... If you have oversize chassis (10000 kg) with 0 cargo mass, will it be slower than brick trailer (5500 kg) with 1000 kg cargo mass? That would be nice to do some testing.

It seems like you are getting a synchronization problem. Does it only happen on high population areas? If yes, then avoid driving in those places. I am not sure if clearing the DNS cache, nor the winsock catalog would help, but I would certainly give it a shot. You need to open the command prompt on your computer with administrator's privilege, and type "ipconfig /flushdns" without the quotes and press enter. When it's done, then type "netsh winsock reset all" and press enter. After it's complete, it will ask you to restart computer, then do so. Another thing I would try if I was you, I would uninstall TruckersMP from your programs and features. Then delete TruckersMP folder in Documents and make sure it is also deleted from Program Files. Run CCleaner, click Registry tab on left, then scan for issues. It will prompt you to ask if you want to backup registry keys, you can if you want, but you don't have to. It never caused problems to me, but who knows. After scan is done, you can click fix all, then install TruckersMP. Please give us any updates on the issue, if it still persists, or if you have found a workaround.

The lights on the trailer are bound and cannot be changed in any way. Unless you want to create your own mod for single player, then I don't know how to do it. Well you can replace that "&4682c334" with "1000" or how much kilogram you want (1000 = 1 ton). The "&4682c334" seem to be worth 16737 kg according to hex to float converter. I have my own tool for converting colors, but I also use this handy website: https://gregstoll.dyndns.org/~gregstoll/floattohex/

I would personally think this might be a problem with synchronization on the server often called "desync". The players appear frozen for one person, but for everyone else, it looks like NCZ hack which it is not the case. I might advise to log in low population areas or different servers to avoid unnecessary accidents that you may not be aware of. EDIT: After some search, I have found someone else who had the same problem, but only in crowded areas.

@J0RGE Can you provide a paste bin of the game.log.txt file? I would also recommend to try and see if it will crash on a new profile. You have the same code of access violation than my last crash, which I think had to do with the game failing to load something.
