    Today i've reached the goal at which i said i will stop playing ETS untill SCS comes out with something that will really change the game, i wonder if i can do it. They didn't change the base gameplay since the game came out. I will come back for any WoTr events tho.

      Well u different kind of driver, you are not simulator fan plus you drive with other people a lot, I like to run lonewolf and then you start seeing flaws after some time :)

    Always when u come from Byalistok to Warzsaw it seems like you just came into a really busy city... it doesnt last but it's nice to see some more traffic at right places even if only on the first intersection.

      Unfortunately, the same can't be said in Multiplayer outside of Calais and Duisburg cities, you can rarely see anybody else coming in as everybody sits in the garages and depots most of the time.

      I was trying to say that you do not have to be playing the game. Steam counts the hours the game is open. You can even use your computer to do other stuff meanwhile the game is running in the background. If you just leave it open while you are doing something else, you can get insane hours. Not like there's any idea to do that, but it's possible.

      Yep, I realize that I wrote it in a weird way... Instead of the final "Unlikely?", it should've been something like "No way, pal". I know that you can leave the game running while you're out, but still, it's more than 5 hours per day, every day, for more than 5 years. Work, school, holiday travels, etc. I can't see it happen, tbh. Unless... Suppose you are running a server, a machine that's on 24/7. You could have the game running in the background while you do everything else using a separate PC or laptop. That way, I guess that anyone would reach 10K or even 20K hours.

    Almost half thru the year and still no Renault... or Man... or any kind of bigger change to the gameplay. Not sure if I got spoiled last year or what but SCS seems bloody slow this year.

      A 90km/h server limit for everyone and server-side economy are the 2 worst possible things as far as I'm concerned so I'm perfectly happy with :tmp::wub:

      I guess you'll stay here then :P i'm trying to get away from it as soon as possible, i mean cmon fine for speeding is 360€ and you can get up to 200.000€ per job, how is that simulation, getting 10.000€ (or less) for 600-700km job  thats more like it+ fuel expences you would be on 9.500€ and if you'd want to buy new truck you'd actually have to work for it, or if you'd take a loan. You would also have to really take care of your truck to not crash it and stuff... this will be in the game at some point and i cant wait for it. This is not just me thinking out loud, SCS is already working on this stuff. I really pay attetion what SCS guys are talking in their interviews.

    Some new AI trucks, the way I see this, it's a truck made in Slovenia back in 80s and 90s, real life name TAM (they moved out of Slo long time ago and today they are producing only busses)

      You can see way more in them, easier to overtake and everything. Comparable to the ones in real life.

    I swear, people playing multiplayer games on sunday evening are just, I don't know how to describe, they make it work for themselfs but you can see the most of not normal stuff on sunday evening... just nuts, totally different game, any game, I can say this is true for BF4, LoL, R6S and probably TMP too.

    Found something interesting in SCS forum today, the following is what SCS employee wrote:

     

    1. Does this mean that SCS will finally be able to not have the community wait many months for new States to be released for ATS?

    No. You'd rather see more content instead of shorter release cycles. It's basically like mothers producing a baby; one mother can "produce" a baby in nine months, but you can't "produce" a baby in one month with nine mothers; you just get nine babies.
    A state or a country still requires a minimum time to research, map, create assets and of course, to test. Therefore, it's more likely that the amount of content per year could increase, but the actual content still takes months to complete.

    Also, for some jobs, you'd just get in each other's way, which can defeat the purpose of assigning more developers...
