Does anyone happen to know if having a faulty NON PRIMARY hard drive can slow boot speed? My main boot drive is fine, but one of my other drives is failing.. Windows seems to take upwards of 15 minutes just to boot.

For laptops, using the keyboard connector http://prnt.sc/eq7hd0. ~2 Minutes work to reprogram it.

I remember using one of these one time to reprogram the BIOS of a PCChips desktop motherboard that had gone bad. I had to download the ROM for the BIOS from the manufacturer and load it into the machine's (the module equipment) the software on Windows XP (I think Service Pack 1 was still the latest service pack for XP at the time. SP2 came out shortly after) and connect the machine to the computer using a parallel port. It would take ages to wipe and write the new data to the chip. lol
