  1. The majority of players don't care about these signs anyway.
  2. To be fair - TruckersMP 2023 Recap reveals that 136 in-game reports are made every hour on average. Lets say 3 minutes are needed to review every report in detail. This means every moderator can handle 20 reports per hour. This means we need 7 moderators on average (probably twice that in peak times and half that on graveyard times) only doing in game reports just to keep the reports at 0. On top of that we need moderators to do live moderation along CD and on problematic areas on CD. That could easily add up to another 10 game moderators just watching CD. Lets pretend it's peak hours. In order for reports not to get timed out we need 14 moderators in game only doing reports. On top of that we need at least 10 moderators watching over CD. That's at least 24 moderators needed for peak hours. Considering the team consists of volunteers you can just imagine the size of the moderation team alone if we need consistent 14 game moderators online at once on average throughout the day. Let's say the average game moderator spends 2 hours in game every day doing moderator work (might even be a bit high, they are volunteering and have jobs, family and other (moderator-out-of-game-)stuff to take care of as well). Thats 12 moderators needed every day to fill out that one moderator position. Let's add up the numbers from before. 17 moderators doing 2 hours of in game work every day. 12 "shifts" needed to cover 24 hours. Thats 204 moderators needed to fulfill the bare minimum of moderator work per day. On top of that we need to take LOA in to account - and we need some extra moderators to watch over event servers etc. So let's say 220 moderators needed to cover the daily moderator work known to the public. Thats a big team only doing in-game moderation work. And above is based on game moderators only doing moderation work. Meaning they don't get time to do driving with their friends in VTC or otherwise get to just enjoy themselves.

Your profile photo is so cool!

  4. Just because you don't see GMs in game doesn't mean they're not there. A lot of GMs enjoy, or prefer, "lurking" instead of flashing their red name all over the place. So just because you don't see a red name doesn't mean they're not watching. With all the action taking place on CD road alone, it would require that 20% of all players are game moderators to watch every single inch on the road to take instant action. Which obviously isn't possible - or wanted.
  5. The railroad crossing doesn't work as intended right now. Thats why parts of the visual aspects of the railroad crossing has been blocked off.
  6. It is all about protecting personal details. Not just for staff, but also for the player getting banned. It does not concern the public how long the player gets banned. That is a personal detail only concerning the banned player and the TruckersMP Team. The public don't need that information. Another reason for this, is that the length issued is often subject to change, so removing it will remove some confusion when x amount of time is said at one time but it turns out to be y amount of time instead.
  7. 7 day rule is still valid. What that rule means, is that you have to have the report created before 7 days after the incident. Then it doesn't matter that there is a long wait for it to be checked. But it also means, that if you are able to create 10 reports before hitting the limit and you have 12 reports to make, then the remaining 2 reports might end up being invalid if there is a huge load on the report system - because you might not be able to make the report within 7 days of the incident.
  8. Today it has been exactly 9 years since I registered on TruckersMP 🥳🥳

@Fezz is supposed to bring cake for the party, so if the cake is missing you know who to blame <.<

  9. But why "limit" the server to 4500 if it the server can actually handle 5000? Why not let it stay at 5000 at all times since it is the maximum capacity.
  10. What would the difference be from having, let say, 5000 slots at maximum and only making 4000 of them available? 1000 of them will just go to waste then. Or am I misunderstanding something?
  11. The only issue I can see with this suggestion, is that the servers are hosted in different countries, so "moving" slots between the servers on a regular basis might actually not be possible.
  12. Difference between Game moderators having streamer mode and players don't, is that it is a legal requirement (GDPR) for Game Moderators to hide usernames and other identifying factors if they decide to stream er moderation session. That's not the case for players.
  13. There are 2 - 3 spaces where you can easily park your HCT coming from the road. Heck, the parking spaces themselves are long enough for HCT, all of them.
  14. No, the parking lot next to the fuel station. It fits HCT. Thats all I am asking for. Idc if there is a sign saying "HCT only pl0x or ban" or not
  15. I'm not saying I'm Wonder Woman; I'm just saying no one has ever seen me and Wonder Woman in the same room together.

  16. Same reason that there are room for HCT parking in Duisburg; It's redone and adapted to TMP.
