  3. Suggestion Name: Add Option to Deactivate Account Instead of Permanent Deletion Suggestion Description: Instead of immediately and permanently deleting a user's TruckersMP account, add an option that allows users to temporarily deactivate their account. This would hide their profile and data from public view but allow them to return and reactivate their account at any time in the future. Any example images: No example images available. Why should it be added?: This feature would provide users with more flexibility and control over their account status. Some users may only want a break from the game or community rather than losing all progress and data permanently. A deactivation option would help prevent regretful deletions and encourage user retention by offering a way to pause participation without a permanent decision.
  4. Sad to see you leave. But for now take care!!!

  5. Ello no fun fact's anymore!

  6. Issue: You can’t hear other players through the CB radio, or your microphone doesn’t work in-game. Common Causes: • Incorrect input/output audio device settings. • Missing permissions for TruckersMP to use your microphone. • Wrong keybinds or audio driver issues. How to fix it: 1. Press TAB, then right-click → go to “Settings” → “Sound”. 2. Select the correct microphone (input) and headset/speakers (output). 3. Ensure TruckersMP has permission in your Windows privacy settings. 4. Hold down X to speak (check keybinds if it was changed). 🛠 If you still have issues, try launching the game as administrator or unplugging/replugging your headset before launching TMP.
  7. Issue: You have all the required map DLCs installed but can’t get ProMods to work in multiplayer. Explanation: TruckersMP only supports a specific version of ProMods that matches the current TMP-supported version of ETS2. Steam may have updated your game beyond what ProMods supports. Steps to fix it: 1. Go to https://www.promods.net and register. 2. Download the correct version of ProMods listed in the TruckersMP Knowledge Base. 3. Downgrade ETS2 if necessary using Steam → Properties → Betas. 4. Make sure your ProMods files are extracted and in the correct mod folder. Need help? There’s a full step-by-step video guide on YouTube or in the TMP Knowledge Base.
  8. Issue: You see players with unusual vehicle setups — like a fuel tanker attached to a Scania or double trailers in the wrong countries — and wonder how they’re doing it. Explanation: These players are using a technique called save editing, where they manually modify the contents of their save files to use combinations not available in-game. Important: Save editing is allowed, but must comply with the official TruckersMP save editing rules: https://truckersmp.com/rules#3-save-editing Want to try it? Tools like TS Save Editor or manual file editing via ETS2’s save folder can help. Search YouTube for tutorials or ask in the #modding-help Discord channel. ⚠ Always make backups of your profile before editing.
  9. Issue: Your game crashes or becomes unplayable when entering high-traffic areas like Duisburg or Calais. Explanation: These areas often contain 100+ players, which places a heavy load on your CPU, GPU, and RAM. Even high-end systems can struggle due to the number of models, AI physics, and CB-radio activity. Tips to avoid crashes and lag: • Lower your in-game graphics settings (especially mirror distance, vegetation detail, and traffic lights). • Turn off the CB radio (voice chat) if not needed. • Switch to a different camera (like rooftop view or free cam) to reduce rendering load when entering crowded areas. • Avoid Simulation 1 during peak hours (weekends/evenings) — try Simulation 2 or ProMods instead.
  10. Issue: You’ve installed mods from the Steam Workshop but they don’t appear in-game or cause crashes in multiplayer. Explanation: TruckersMP does not support Steam Workshop mods, because all players in the session need to have the exact same game files to prevent desyncs and crashes. Most Workshop mods (custom trailers, engines, sound packs, etc.) are only compatible with single-player. Exceptions: • ProMods is supported — but it must be installed manually and with the correct version. Solution: • Stick to SCS vanilla content or TruckersMP-approved mods (e.g., ProMods or official TMP events). • If you want to use custom modifications, learn about save editing (see thread #4). More info on ProMods installation: https://truckersmp.com/knowledge-base/article/614
  11. Issue: Getting kicked shortly after joining a server with the message “Unreliable Connection.” Explanation: This is a common problem, especially for players with slower PCs or internet connections. TruckersMP expects a stable connection and quick response from your client. If your connection doesn’t stabilize within a few seconds of loading into the game, you’ll be automatically kicked. Solutions: • Use a wired Ethernet connection if possible — WiFi is more prone to delays. • Wait 5–10 seconds on the profile selection screen before clicking “Drive” to give your system time to load. • Make sure no large downloads or background applications (e.g. Discord screen sharing, streaming, Windows Updates) are affecting your bandwidth. • Avoid running the game directly after startup — give your PC time to fully initialize all services.
  12. Ello today no fun fact
