Game slow to open and close. ETS2 & ETS2MP

Hello @FBTC - Raaphael,

 

Does this delay occur only with TruckersMP and ETS2?

This seems to me to be a Computer Problem and not the Applications Cited above.

Try Scan your HD, Check the Existence of Viruses or something like that.

You can try these steps:

1.Run the command client (cmd) as an administrator
2.Enter the following command

sfc /scannow

3.Wait for the process to finish, and then restart your computer
4.Launch the game with Steam "Launch with DirectX (64-bit)"
5.Spend some time in the game (5 min)
6.Exit the game and start Multiplayer


Well or try the 2 way

1)Go to Documents and Delete the ETS2MP Folder
2)Press the Windows Key + R (Win+R) on your keyboard
3)Enter "%programdata%" and press Enter (Without the quotes)
4)Find the folder "TruckersMP" and delete that folder.
5)Navigate to C:\Program Files\ and delete the folder named "TruckersMP Launcher"
6)And, go to re/download this launcher here: https://truckersmp.com/download

Hi there @FBTC - Raaphael

 

Let clear you pc cache memory by doing follow steps.

  1. Turn off your pc 
  2. Remove the power cable ( To be sure that your pc is empty and have no power left in system )
  3. Wait around 30 sec 
  4. Plug in the power cable 
  5. Turn on your pc and try agian

You should be able to start up TMP and the client should be loading normal after when you doen this steps.

Hey,¬†sQue–įky,
I performed both procedures you followed and it still takes a while to close the game in multiplayer mode.
The almost exact time I can say is that it takes 20-25 seconds to close the game and when I click to start it is almost 15 seconds.
It seems like a despicable time, but it's a nuisance to me and other friends who are complaining too.

 

Hello @ThiagoBR_, The delay to close the game persists both offline and multiplayer.
It seems like a problem that not only happens to me, but also to other friends I've been talking about.

 

Hey, @Ah Bunker, I just ran CCleaner. I cleaned up all unnecessary windonws explorer storage, cleaned up the cache memories and other options I had in the program column. And yet, still has not resolved the delay in closing the game.

Then i suggest you to reinstall windows and choose to reinstall and keep the files ofc.

Since Windows might have something todo with this.
