SCS Blog
We are very impressed with the community effort during the current Trade Connections Germany event on World of Trucks. There were 5 million tons of material delivered in under a week! This is about 3 times ton-kilometers compared to the cargo delivered in the Big Sur event. And the numbers keep climbing up. Big thumbs up for your efforts! The huge scale of the event is intentional. We wanted to provide a challenge that will take several weeks to complete so that more people have a chance to participate, as there were frequent gripes with our previous events that the duration was too short. However, it seems that some players kept missing the 300 km limit. We are getting lot of inquiries about this, so we decided to remove it from the community goal requirements (the personal goal remains the same). To sum it up, the community goal is now thus:Deliver 50.000.000 tons of cargo in total to Germany from any other country or vice versa. There is no distance limit now. Meanwhile, check out this little video presenting cool main menu background waiting for you as one of the community rewards... RayRay5
... Well it's somewhat hard to find any job from or to Germany if you are close to the borders anyway. And even jobs around 1000 ~ 1500 km are rare Good decisiojn on this one, but I don't think that this will improve the situation that much "Just because others break rules, does not grant you the permission to break the rules as well" Please drive respectful on the servers. Thank you!
IpilkAlaus
Terrible decision. Just giving in to the complaints of impatient kids - I for one, had no problems finding jobs to Germany from anywhere. ETS2 community is embarrassing sometimes Edited October 19, 2018 by Neighbor Jones clarifying
Prime
This decision has nothing to with tmp community, but is taken by Scs based on feedback they received from the entire ets2 community. For some countries like Belgium and Luxembourg it can be difficult to find a job that met the requirements because they are neighbouring small countries. 1 1 Regards Prime Service & Data Analyst
KrhtikosV8
SCS he made a fault from the start of this event. Did not set a target for weight transfer to the individual goal and they all just travel to finish the event without targeting to weight. For me that goal is big for the community to reach that in one month.(almost that is the time limit of events)
Flindix
I still believe the community goal is way too big, considering most people don't care about weight when doing the event.
Mohammad Afzooni
Hello Today in the scs blog, a new news release has been released. It has been said that some of the players have escaped from 300 km xd. I myself tried to travel more than 1000 kilometers. By eliminating this limitation, the other players will not escape. Mohammad. Guest
This event has started wrong, should not have mileage limit and yes weight, I particularly enjoyed this event well, and I keep making deliveries even already have finished the goal of 10 loads delivered.
