My Car in ETS AND ATS Have speed problems

Everytime i try to drive my car it goes right up to 40 everytime i press shift it goes up to 62 im a little confused because i don't use gears in this game so i don't whats going on?

Hello, can you confirm what game setting you are on? Because this could be real automatic you are using. Please show us some screenshots, video whatever you can. As for the moment, your message is very undetailed. Awaiting your reply,

If you put it in N ( Neutral ) does it rev to the max without you touching anything? If so it may be your throttle is stuck on ( this happens when any key is pressed at the same time as Y which opens game chat ). If not then i don't know, that being said are you using automatic gears or manual?

I've seen issues like yours before, as shown in the topics above. I'd recommend to try resetting your game controls, afterwards disabling the speed limiter if you haven't already; then you should try switching over to manual shifting and see if that would resolve the issue mentioned.

As already said its a bug.

 

Please wait till it got fixed. If you want to drive the car you have to use the manual transmission.
