Sound device issue Windows 10

Elysia ELF

Question

Hello Truckers,

I have a new PC and everything is installed.

I change from Windows 8 to 10 and here is my issue:

If I connect the headset with my PC then come the sound from the screen not from the headset. I have to select Headset to get sound on the headset but if I disconnect the Headset with my PC then is there no sound until I select the screen.

Can someone help me, that it switch automatically?

Best Regards and Merry Christmas

Hello @LSPD Gamer I am in the same case that you are and what I do is when I plug my headphones I select my headphones like default device, when I unplug it and connect my speakers what I do is that I select my speakers like default device, hope this works for you, here you have some screenshots, sorry for the bad writing in the screenshots

Hello @LSPD Gamer, are you having MSI PC/Laptop? if MSI try to uninstall nahimic and reinstall latest version audio drivers available in website and install nahimic.

or

Right click on start button>device manager>uninstall speaker drivers>restart your PC/laptop. Microsoft audio drivers will be installed automatically.
if it doesn't solve can you tell your pc specifications.
