Why is it that everytime I go to load the game it either crashes or takes around 5 minutes to load now? This is the same with quick traveling and using the ferries.

I've disabled my flag dlc which had made things a bit better but still get bad lag at times.

I got a bit of very bad lag during a convoy earlier

What caused that? Also when driving I didn't notice that was happening - how can that be?

Possibly your ping went really high. There's many reasons this could happen, network problems, downloads on your network hogging the resources etc. If it wasn't on your end then perhaps some de-sync on the server due to all of the trucks in one place.

^I did have lag at the time but it didn't seem that bad - definitely not like that anyway - I saw another truck doing something similar earlier before the convoy

The Flags DLC is causing issues (heavy lag and sttutering, ping remains the same) in heavily congested servers. I'd suggest not to use it

^ The lag always ruins this amazing game, wish everyone was able to run it at 30-60FPS even at crowded places.

It would be great but I think due to the game being developed for single player, it's very difficult to optimise the multiplayer mod.

Double trailer would be no bad idea but the basic is to fix the flag thing

^Not sure if this will work, because at the moment MP allows money/profile editing, so people will simply hack their profile to be e.g. lvl1000  and they'll bypass that requirement.

Driven distance, level, playtime and so on are all irrelevant - only way to check if someone can really handle double trailers is to have some kind of test/exam about it...However we are very close to 1 000 000 users - who will test them and how long it will take to get them tested?

Yes, thats true, but if you make it via world of trucks, maybe that you have to drive 500 jobs with no damage and no overtime in a row, so it would be a test for everyone. And I think world of trucks is not very easy to hack.
