BS1
Suggestion Description: Mods will be centralised by Steam Workshop in the near future. Could some proven and popular mods be added into multiplayer then? Examples (ETS2): Promods, Jazzycat Trailer,50keda DAFs, RJL Scanias, Ohaha Volvos Why should it be added? It would further improve gameplay, giving us multiplayer people more stuff to play with. More roads to drive, interesting trailers and better tuning. Furthermore, it would probably draw a greater playerbase towards MP because they can use some of their mods. Best Regards, BS1
[ S.PLH ] Warrior
i don't think steam workshop is going to be supported. mods have been disabled in multiplayer, only save files works for now
Akupunktur Necmettin
/support , BUT: No such big mods, no standalones, no map extensions. Rather than Promods, Jazzycat Trailer,50keda DAFs, RJL Scanias, Ohaha Volvos ,; Jazzycat Skin replacements, Interior skins, truck skins, SOUND MODS, HD gauges mod, and maybe texture enhancement which improves realistic look. Mods DEFINITELY improve gaming, and this is also applicable for MP experience. However, mods shall be chosen in way that doesn't crash one other's game, thus not being standalone. BS1
Wouldn't that be the exact advantage of Steam Workshop!? Mods are installed by a single click,so there could be a list of MP mods - even "big mods" - which anybody can easily install and use. Just for curiosity: Which mods do not break somebody else's game? Best Regards, BS1
[ S.PLH ] Warrior
^you are right about downloading in a single click however if you download a mod from steam workshop it put the mod in your mod manager in-game, all mods that are placed in mod manager has been disabled for multiplayer so that is your answer
FairladyZ
I wouldn't say no to custom skins, but nothing else. EDIT: Only if they are approved by admins and community, otherwhise we'll see porn trucks around the map.

Puncake
i believe there wont be mod support due to the devs asking the modder for permission for use, there is copyright use for example jazzy cat trailers and the installer would be too big
Son_of_a_Trucker
mods like custom skins would be good i think for mp. especially for clans that want to have the same skin for everyone. im not in a clan but just sayin.
[BT] bnussman [C&M-AD]
Not sure how organized it could be, but I think the workshop will make the MP team much more lenient on addition of server-wide mods depending on how it is implemented and if Steam has any API kind of stuff for the workshop.

Guest
Any mods that are usable in MP, You must activate in Singleplayer first, so in that case Workshop support will likely not happen.
Smooth Dog
Now there actually can be whitelisted mods since everyone gets the newest version of the mod and it's all handled through Steam Workshop. What if the TruckersMP devs makes a workshop collection of all mods that would be supported?
