Featured Zone: The Alps

ايام A few days and the event will end, I have tried many driving methods, I used a Skoda car and drove between trucks with huge loads of 61 tons, there were impatient drivers who tried to pass quickly and sometimes recklessly and they were often banned, I am sad about their ban. I tried driving a truck with a load of 40 tons at a speed of 4 km along the road towards the European Union flags and everyone was patient and walked at the same speed as me and there was no disturbance except from very few players, the trip took about 45 minutes to reach the top of the Alps, yes these are some of my experiences during 5 days of playing on the Alps road, thanks to all the administrators and the supervisors team for being on the road for everyone's safety

This event offers a brilliant opportunity to explore the breathtaking Alpine landscapes. A big thank you to the TruckersMP Team! The challenging driving dynamics on the mountainous roads were particularly impressive. Spending time in such a detailed and realistic setting was truly enjoyable. It would be fantastic to see more events like this in the future, continuing to bring unique experiences to the community.

Is there an estimated UTC time that this event will expire ?   I really want to explore Phase 3 but fear I may not have time to play.

And now the 1.51 vers just came out like 1-2 days ago so I assume they prob just extending the event

Suggestion for the next event: there should be a service station at the beginning or end of the road - which should then also necessarily include a rest function!
I was always very tired after driving through the long traffic jam and then found no opportunity for a rest to get some sleep! I fell asleep several times while looking for a place to sleep while driving, which was very dangerous!

I really liked this event. Sadly SCS decided to send out a update in the middle of it, that killed all the fun in my opinion. But anyways I think It was a really awesome event, please do make more like it, specially in areas that players don't usually go to, one near the Milan mountains would be awesome in my opinion.

Hey, thanks for your feedback! Could you elaborate on why you found it to be poorly executed? This way we can have a clearer understanding on what we could improve on

As guys has already stated,It's small scale than Calais, but I was able to enjoy driving on the narrow streets road.

 

However, during in the time zone I was driving, I couldn't see many construction vehicles running on closed road.

 

We hope that more staff will be involved in the next event.

I'm glad that the Alps finally got some traffic coming through. For the next featured zone, I'd love to see something on the E27 near Geneva, that place looks amazing.

Hello there Vicc,

 

First of all thank you for giving us an opportunity to send our feedback about an event that took place in the Alps!

 

 

From my side, I really enjoyed it, and I intend to say that it was one of the best parts of these events. 

I was also very glad to have been able to participate as a member of the TruckersMP Team and to help out here with interactivity for our players.

 

I would like to in this case say huge thanks to our whole Staff Team & Addon Team for all stuff &effort they have put in this event.

 

I can't wait for next one come in the future!

Apart from the congestion, I think it might be better to have a car park for a better view of the whole Alps

I'd like to see a car park in that area, and some construction vehicles, like the possibility of having TMP Staff play these, at the start so we can get a more visual feel for the build, etc.

In addition to congestion, I think that the next time road maintenance is needed, more TMP employees and staff can drive various vehicles such as ☆ excavators, rollers, iron planers, as well as road work, improvised road maintenance, so that we can see the buildings, roads have more visual sense, and day by day is not the same

This will take some time... (check my profile info, before you say I am rude; there is a good explanation why my English is different)
These are the points where the experience I got a big lump of Not-Good:
- lack of active moderation (toxic CB; toxic chat; no traffic control; too many safe edited users causing mega lag and collisions/traffic jams/blocking because of afk or plane trolling);
- no moderators in sight within Rush Hours;
- wrong server to have this event in - it should have been in Sim 2;
- no cargos attached to the event => most people lost interest fast;
- organization could have been done better.

To resume...

 

Pros:

• Great location with challenging roads (especially with long and heavy trailers)
• Nice event items designed and displayed throughout the road
• Each times I joined there were several moderators who were mostly doing a good job
• Due to the road setup, we didn't see too much idiot/trolls behaviours. I think they preferred to remain racing at 110km/h on the flat roads of CD 

Cons:

• Except some speed bumps in 1 place, nothing was really making the journey and different from the usual road. I would have like more road changes with temporary traffic lights and changes of line and some more bumpy parts where the work was being done (like in real life) etc...
• Not enough spots to park and refuel when climbing. Personally I was using a truck with a small tank and had to stop for emergency refuel on each trip (even if I was refuelling just at the start in the city)
• Would have been great to have some special cargos to transport and also get a badge reward after the event for people completing some mission or simply attending.
• It would be great to somehow prevent people from using the horn constantly or be more strict about their usage. Some people were REALLY annoying using their horn constantly in the queue or when someone with a big cargo was going to slow to their taste.
• Communication was pretty bad. We were supposed to have 1 week in 1 direction and the second in the other. But after ~10 days we were still in the same setup (not change). People were wondering why but nothing was communicated.

Looking forward for another event (I'm voting for Corsica!). This was great overall.
