The one that TMP modified still can make you spin out, if your cab has relatively high HP and without a trailer (I've accidentally spun out on my way to pick up the event cargo, luckily I was the only one in the city). You need to be gentle with your accelerator when you trying to turn left/right, especially when you start after stopping for a stop sign/red light. And in winterland with the physics mod, I'd say enabling automatic retarder and be gentle with your accelerator and brake pedal helps avoid skidding a lot (if you on controller or wheel setup). TL,DR: The revamped winter physics mod can still be slippery, but not as much as last year with the original one from the mod author.

I have both for myself, just wondering how you think regard this. I used to run the highest hp engine, but I've been really into those lower hp engine for a more realistic experience.

This is why we need NPCs on those servers. I'd say that those NPCs drive better than some of the playerbase.

This, I run a G29 myself and I'd say it's better for me, since I have a smaller desk and my hands are kinda small as well

prob bc you on KBM, cuz if you are controller, or steering wheel, you can actually feel it, regardless how fast or how slow you drive over them.

Can just make the server annoucements and messages from moderators be able to overwrite on top of all chats. Problem solved This is also a good idea, given that they added a cursor when the chat tab is opened. Just as I mentioned above, make those 2 the highest priorities.
