Since C-D has been known as the road with daily high number of players in TruckersMP, and also with increasing number of players that recognizing this part of road, there are always and will be some jams around railway crossing.  Despite that, I have to say that if the players would follow the rules, anybody would overtake in high populated areas (will never happen) the jams they could handle better. 

 

The main problem is that many of players are impatient and rather overtake the jam and make a chaos. I can sometimes see in chat people writing, where are the admins, are they sleeping? Not, admins would not be needed if all goes as it should be (I'm goin to repeat myself, all players would follow the rules)

It's important to be very careful when going over bumps. It's the same in real driving, and I believe that many people, like me, are aiming for realism in the game. Instead of jumping over them, we slow down, which can affect traffic a bit. Even if everything else is normal, there will still be traffic because it's a popular route. Isn't heavy traffic a good thing? It makes the game more enjoyable as long as everyone follows the rules.

The Traffic Jam happens cause of the Train! Because the Train is a Troll. He always drive the same Route with the same Speed only for causing useless Traffic!

- Oh wait.....technical, this can be applied to many Players on this Road too!

 

Anyways, the Difference is, the Train will not Accelerate when you Overtake him, the Train do not Overtaking you while there is Oncoming Traffic and the Train do not Ramming you on Purpose! The Train do not Stop in the Middle of the Road, he is just passing! And the most Important Part of all Things, the Train do not use a 310 Horse Power 4x2 Default low Cabin Iveco Strahlis, to pull the Waggons!

 

EDIT: Sidenote, the Train is Violating Rule §3, because he have more than 3 Trailers attached, even when they are not looking weird, glitching, having no floating Parts/Cargo and no broken Physics. It is a Violation. AAAnd, the Train made it to bypass the Autokick of the Server, which is a reason to apply a §2.9 Permaban to the Train!

Firstly, there are more truck drivers on the CD road compared to other places. Secondly, when passing through the railway, as the name suggests, there will be trains passing by, which increases the time and congestion of passing through the railway. However, I think this is also a great pleasure of the CD road.

I believe that the traffic is always caused, unless you go at a time when everyone is sleeping, because during the day, it is traffic all the time, at this time if you go there you will see a huge traffic.

 

As mentioned, most of it is caused by the train, not to mention that this road also doesn't require DLC, meaning that any player can drive on it and usually players look for busy places for realism!

Because the C-D road has very heavy traffic, anything that disrupts the flow of traffic during peak hours causes massive traffic jams.

 

The train crossing is one of the most infamous because it is something that is part of the game, is bound to always happen, regardless of how people behave on the road. As it lasts for a fair amount of time, more and more people come to the place making the jam bigger. Then you have to add a couple of impatient reckless drivers trying to overtake and causing even more disruption.

 

For some reason there seems to be a much bigger traffic jam going from Duisburg to Calais than the opposite direction, it isnt uncommon for the jam to go all the way to the highway interchange. I never understood the reason for this tbf.

I think it's all because many people drive here during rush hour who have a weak computer or simply don't know how to drive well enough to cope here, for people with low fps crossing the railway crossing may be a problem, and there's also breaking the rules.

Mathematic equasion for this is: number of drivers × train-crossing waiting time + √number of trolls and nubz³ = waiting time

It will forever be the same. Between all the people who drive down C-D road and the people who make it worse by overtaking the traffic and many different factors then that section will forever be the same

 

I'd actually put money on that even if the train crossing was removed that section would still be backed up with traffic

There has always been traffic there, because of the train spawning every 2 minuts traffic will form if so many players are on cd road already, there are also people who drive wrong way and always block the rail road which is the killer part
