Hi! I often have a problem. While driving, the picture is constantly slowing down. The players say I'm lagging. I do not know how to describe it. Watch the video. For a better understanding, pay attention to the road signs.
 

My PC:
OS: Windows 11 23H2
CPU: i5-10600KF
RAM: 16 GB DDR4 3200MHz
Videocard: 1050ti
ROM: Kingston NV2 1 TB NVME 2280
Broadband Internet connection: 100Mb/s

I understand your problem very well, because it was a problem I haved with my old PC. Whether it's the graphics of the game, the excess of players in multiplayer, synchronisation, this problem unfortunately exists on low quality systems. Now I have upgraded my PC's hardwares and I've never experienced this problem.

This happens when someone else has the secondary lights or escorts "polished".

 

It is normal that other players have performance problems on their pcs because of these lights, since some of them play with the graphics on ULTRA; I recommend you to lower the VISIBILITY RANGE OF THE LIGHTS and the SECONDARY LIGHTS OF THE VEHICLES, in the graphic settings, to solve the jerks caused by the lights of the other players.

I'm using 1050ti with 16gb ram too. But sadly its not enough for TruckersMP. I think you need to change the graphics settings to solve the problem. In addition, TruckersMP also has graphical settings in the tab menu and they affect the problem you are experiencing. You can change the distance of the drawing distance to the middle distance. You can also disable the drivers of other drivers.

A wide idea would be to try lowering graphics settings and checking if problem still persists. First, you can try changing your resolution from whatever you're using right now to a lower one (so Full HD to just HD) and checking, if lags are worse or better. Imo, it's the GPU trying to render things, whether it'd be other players' trucks or just scenery. If you experience less lags on lower resolution, or lowering all graphics settings, I suggest to consider upgrading the GPU, as this one is not enough (opinion) for a smooth gameplay.
