Why should it be added?: Currently, we support seasons mods which is optional for players to use and this is another mod that could be supported and be optional for players in both ETS2 and ATS giving players another mod option.

This would be a great thing to add on, but as said by someone else, performance should be considered before doing those changes. With more lights the game has more things to load in, so low RAM and VRAM values would be a problem in a low-end PC. Since when users are in Simulation 1 in Calais - Duisburg they already get laggy and lead to accidents caused by that whole lag, and also impact on global server's performance, most likely the answer to this thread from a community manager would be a no rather than a yes.

Personally, I don't think I would install this mod.

When driving in dimly lit areas with little traffic, it can already be slightly uncomfortable right now if approaching drivers don't lower their headlights.

Therefore, I would prefer to keep high beams from shining even brighter.

I can see how some drivers might benefit from the mod, though.

Offering it to those who want more powerful light effects is of course perfectly fine, as long as it is optional and only affects the client on which it is installed.
