  1. Hello @Granite, At first, I wasn't sure about your 520 hp engine because the user Jarrad set the limitation to 500-510 hp. But the user abasstreppas allows "a slight push over that limit for some trucks". So 520 hp should be legit. The rest of your configuration meets the J-spec requirements. Congratulations @Granite, you are J-spec certified!
  2. False. My favorite chocolate is a 100% cacao product and consists solely of cocoa mass, cocoa butter, low fat cocoa. The next person prefers green tea over black tea.

  4. I experienced the most serious accidents every time I used the road between Duisburg and Calais. Every time, reckless and raging drivers forced me off the road rear-ended me collided with me head-on took the right of way cut me off called me names and threatened to report me because I was driving by the book tried to make me believe they had done nothing wrong Every time I reported them. And every time they were banned.
  5. I solely used the website report system. The in-game report system turned out to be completely useless, because game moderators fail to claimed my reports within the limited time, leaving me without proof. It would be more efficient if the in-game report system provided a hyperlink to the web report system including all data after the time is up.
  6. When was the West Balkans DLC released?
  7. I don't agree to your suggestion. If you stayed for 20 minutes in a virtual traffic jam, you seemed to have enjoyed it. I suggest logging in to another server or single player next time to continue your journey.
  8. The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.

  9. Exciting news from The Sunflower State!
  10. It's okay to not understand something. J-spec excludes all truck configurations that one wouldn't usually see on the roads and thus makes an important contribution to realistic simulation. J-spec therefore allows upgrades, but only to a certain degree. @FernandoCR [ESP] gave a great example with his new MAN. The beauty lies in its simplicity.
  11. Good idea. But how exactly does one know when and where there will be traffic congestion? To my knowledge, TruckersMP doesn't have traffic reports or police radio that could be intercepted. Or do you have a crystal ball that foretells the future? Just curious...
  12. Thanks for the follow, much obliged! 🙂

  13. Hello friends, this topic is all about J-spec trucks. I'll first explain what it is and after that will ask you to post a picture of your J-spec truck. What does J-spec mean? J-spec derives from the first letter of the username Jarrad, who is/ was a user in the SCS forums. Jarrad set the most common specifications (or short spec) of trucks that one would usually see on the roads. What are the specifications? According to Jarrad's post from 20 May 2015, the initial basic specifications were: (Source: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=184220 ) Jarrad's specs were extended by a user called abasstreppas as follows: (Source: https://forum.scssoft.com/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=184220 ) Here is an example of a J-spec truck: And you? Do you "J-spec"? Show your J-spec truck below in the comments!
  14. Wouldn't it be more effective to "disable" all misbehaving Skoda drivers? The Skoda is only a vehicle abused as a tool to cause mayhem. On-topic: If I could add one thing to TruckersMP it would be AI traffic.
  15. Just like @Foobrother, I follow the national speed limit and therefore don't have to worry about speed cameras.
  16. Hello @Alpha_Trucking, how is such a traffic management vehicle supposed to reach or go anywhere close to the scene of the incident if the road is blocked by a traffic jam?
  17. Hello @Chris Flynn, I remember a similar issue being discussed in the past. In particular, the (re-)log in to the game (quick load) in the middle of roads and/or traffic jams caused mayhem after the ghost mode deactivated. My point of view was that such behavior should be considered reckless driving, which is a violation of 2.5 of the TruckersMP rules, because every player has the possibility to relocate his or her vehicle in singleplayer before re-entering multiplayer to a position that is safe for him or her and others. Others argued that relocating in single-player couldn't be expected of any player. I like your suggestion but it should consider the location of the spawned vehicle.
  18. Hello @Banton, sorry to hear that your first day turned out to be kind of a nightmare. Worry not, sometimes there are better nightmares... Always remember "The Three R's": Record, Report, and Relax.
  19. I would like to thank @[OCSC Event] Antho for sharing your questions and thoughts on save editing. I understand your frustration with the desktop crashes caused by other players' save edits. However, the problem is not the save edit rules. It is the lack of a tool to check for possible save edit problems before connecting to multiplayer. I can't tell you if this is possible or how to do it because I'm not a developer. The look of other players' save edit trucks is not something you have to like, of course. I don't like the look of the two trucks at the top either. But whatever appeals and doesn't break the rules is allowed.
  20. Hello @Foobrother, You're right: SCS implemented AI traffic in Convoy. As I am not a developer, I can only guess how difficult it is to bring AI traffic to TruckersMP. But if it was just a copy and paste action of some code, they probably would have done that already, depending on the answer to the question of whether the TruckersMP team has any interest at all anymore in providing AI traffic in their mod. @[S.PLH]Warrior confirmed the classification as low priority, which at least allows the conclusion that it can still take quite a while. The rules would not need to be more strict than they actually are, because reckless driving and blocking are already punishable violations of the game rules. But what should one do if the AI of AI traffic fails and blocks roads or cause accidents with other AI traffic?
