  1. I want everyone's opinion on this, why is this giveway and not the road onto the motorway, this must be a error

      Because the vehicles on the ramp coming from the highway should not have to wait for their turn to turn into that smaller road. Because they are coming from a technically "busy" way, having to stop and wait for traffic upon leaving the highway could result in the highway being partially blocked by other vehicles who also want/need to head down the ramp, so vehicles driving on the small road have to give way to the ones coming from the highway to keep that road clear and fast at all times.

      In the first picture, the triangular warning sign is telling you that.

      In the second picture, Germany has "priority to the right" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Priority_to_the_right) - This means that those on the main road must give way to those approaching from the slip road.

       

      Crazy, I know, but it's not a bug :)
