  1. So I am not alone, may I join this thread? I notice sometimes other players nearby as well as myself get very high ping (200+) which subsequently drops to normal (below 50) after few seconds. I get these warning messages in the console, whenever player's vehicle "loads in", when more than about 3 players load, it is very noticable, I try to avoid places where chances of more players spawning at once is higher. They are obviously related to TruckersMP, same messages apear in ATS but lagging is not very noticable, since I only meet up to 2 players at once, I would like to know if this is normal? I have this problem only since 1.38 update, I have reinstalled the client, which helped somewhat, but not much.
  2. keep reseting economy (any method) until desired job appears (order the list by destination to check quicker), if you use sleeping method, save the game before sleeping and reload that save if result is negative. dismiss your own trailer, it will only narrow job selection try external jobs as well, these are not affected by economy resets, but can be sometimes "rerolled" partially with the refresh button.
  3. Why would it be Ukrainian? This sign looks almost identical in most of Europe, and the reflective yellow trim around it is also not exclusively seen only in Ukraine. What's more interesting, it's that empty car transporter on pic #8, haven't seen that one in traffic, or maybe I don't play singleplayer too often lately.
  4. First picture features old rusty Lada, other one is parked next to green building on pic #8, overall architecture and look suggest it, for example black and white painted curbs and concrete block barriers, like seen on the pictures, are common for the area. Also you can see signs written in russian or belarusian that translate as "produkt" or "bank".
  5. I think Ukraine alone will suffice for two DLCs, let alone coupled with Belarus, it's twice as large as whole Iberia. It's either Belarus only, or western half of Ukraine only, it could as well be some Russian territory adjacent to already mapped area, possibly south of it.
  6. Beta version = temporary test version, for testing new content with focus on eliminating of any bugs, currently this is 1.39 version. Version 1.38 is current live version of the game, there is no 1.38 beta version - opt ouf of all beta programs to update to 1.38.
  7. You can ignore these threats, it's their problem, if they are not following at a safe distance, proportional to current speed, you can't be banned for their mistakes. You can experience lags/stuttering when the game autosaves, or when more players "spawn" in your vicinity. I am experiencing incresed stuttering since about 1.38 update, when players spawn, but I don't know whether it's problem on my end, TMP problem, or other players may be using extensively save edited trucks and trailers. Normally, if you lag, you will notice it, because everyone around you appears to be lagging as well, I've never heard someone lagging specifically when braking, it may just be a minor desync.
  8. I am offering my easy method of countering this problem (copy/pasted from older thread): Start a game in multiplayer and create new profile - the very first job (tutorial) will be guaranteed late, but cant' be avoided. You should have plenty of quick jobs available, so start working, till you have at least 50500 €, or you can take loan to get to that amount, after 3 or 4 jobs. Buy a Scout car - it costs little over 50k, less than half of the cheapest truck, and it is available at every truck dealership. The car will be automatically assigned as your current vehicle, because you have only single garage slot, but don't worry, you won't be driving it much. When the quick jobs start disappearing from the list, or you just want to reset the quick jobs list, hit that big "Drive" button and drive your car a little distance away from your garage, just few hundred meters will be enough, park it in a safe place (preferably some non-collision zone), open garage manager and fast travel back to your garage. Quck job list should now be refreshed with new offers and you can continue doing this for as long as you want, you can wait with buying a truck, until you level up to get access to every component locked behing level requirements, you can trade in the car for new truck if you don't want to keep it. Few extras: Don't accept any jobs, except external jobs, in singleplayer, and subsequently log in to multiplayer. Don't leave any jobs, except external jobs in multiplayer unfinished, and expect to be able to succesfully finish them when you log back hours later.
  9. For singleplayer, you can use mods to achieve that. In multiplayer, you can't get fatigued, even if you enable that, there is little reason for it, because as a result, you can only sleep limited number of times (about 3) until you can't sleep anymore, and the time remaining for next rest stop will never decrease.
  10. Ignore that, that's how it supposed to be, proceed with loading the savegame, after several minutes it should load.
  11. Are you considering making the painjobs also available for Krone and Schwarzmüller trailers? I would choose these over the generic trailers whenever posiible. Even SCS overlooked them with Pink Ribbon DLC for some reason.
  12. No, changes done using console commands will be kept after you save the game, or it autosaves on exit, and the console remains enabled for all profiles (the config.cfg in the base folder affect every profile), unless you disable it manually, so you can now change this setting on the fly whenever you wish, whithout bothering with closing the game and searching for the correct profile folder. Glad it worked for you.
  13. OK, the easiest way Ican think of: Open config.cfg located directly in Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder Search line: uset g_developer "1" - if the value is "0", change it to "1", save and exit, this will enable console commands in-game. Now start the game (singleplayer or multiplayer, doesn't matter, only multiplayer disables certain ommands that could be abused for cheating/trolling) and load your profile, you can press drive button to spawn in your truck. Press tilde key (~), the key directly bellow escape key, a console appears in top left corner. Type : g_simple_parking_doubles 0 press enter, then press tilde key again to close the console. Now skilled parking should be enabled for doubles, if yes, save the game and the setting will be kept unless you load older save. ADD: It's actually g_simple_parking_doubles 0 sorry. Some prefabs may not have hardest parking option available, not completely sure about this.
  14. Start the game, load a profile, and exit the game. Sort the save folder by "date created", first folder listed with most recent time, will be the last profile that you loaded in the game.
  15. Steam cloud saves are also stored on your computer, but in different location than default save frolder, you can also try to modify config in that location or you can disable coud saving and try manually moving the profile frolder between these locations. I don't use cloud, but I guess, game loads and saves from hard drive first, and when you exit the game, steam uploads them to cloud. I have no idea if it attempst to sync them prior to loading, if you make any changes, so make backups, and try disabling cloud first, make changes, load the game, see if it works, then save and exit. If it worked, the next time you load the profile it should be ok to re-enable cloud saving. Steam cloud save path should be like this: <STEAM INSTALL LOCATION>\userdata\<YOUR STEAM ID>\227300\remote\profiles\ Default save path should be like this: My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiiles
  16. Hmm, did you say steam cloud, perhaps it reads from config stored on cloud? Try loading your profile, disable steam cloud, save and exit. Make the config changes, start the game again and re-enable cloud saving if you want. Or you can change it in-game, if console is enabled. Press "~" key (right bellow Esc key) and enter: g_simple_parking_doubles 0
  17. Changing uset g_simple_parking_doubles "1" to "0" enables skilled parking for double trailers, otherwise, only safe parking option is available when set to "1". Make sure to check "Gameplay" options in-game - search for "Parking difficulty" setting. Set it to "Skilled Parking" to automatically get hard option that requires reversing, without the need to stop at the entrance to choose parking option. If you set it to "Always select" you will need to stop on top of the icon at the entrance and choose one of the options.
  18. For now, only day cab variant of this truck is available, from only 3 dealerships located in Stockton CA, Oxnard CA and Lewiston ID. This is the first truck in ATS, for which DD engines and DT transmissions are available. For those wondering, why map exploration % decreased, there is a new Western Star plant in Portland OR.
  19. If you have successfully loaded Promods in singleplayer, all necessary files are installed correctly. However, mods don't show up in mod manager, when the game is loaded in TMP, because of that you will see warning about missing mods when attempting to load that same profile in multiplayer. Ignore this warning and click to load anyway, TMP will detect the mod files in mod folder, because it uses it's own mod manager, you will just have to wait a couple of minutes for the game to load, due to rebuilding navigation data cache - but this will not happen again until you load that profile in singleplayer, or vanilla map server.
  20. It is problem with the interior that comes with the sleeper cabin, and the interior is separate part, so I guess you could use save editing to swap the interior from globetrotter cabins. From the outside, it will be sleeper cabin, in the inside, it will not match the height of the exterior, but this may work as a temporary workaround, don't know if anybody tried this.
  21. You can only change it by modifying "controls.sii" file located inside you profile folder. Search for this line: config_lines[382]: "mix teleport `keyboard.f9?0`" I have replaced mine with this, and it works for one of the extra mouse buttons: config_lines[382]: "mix teleport `mouse.button_4?0`" You must be careful what you type in, if you enter something invalid, or key that is already used for something else, it can reset whole config to default, so better back it up first. If you cant't find any suitable key you can try to swap actions mapped to F9 and F10 keys, though you won't be able to take screenshots then, if your F9 key is broken: config_lines[126]: "mix screenshot `keyboard.f10?0 | semantical.screenshot?0`"
  22. This is caused by a known bug in TruckersMP - do not use the basic Sleeper cabin for Volvo FH, this will caude crash, use Globetrotter or Globetrotter XL cabins instead. You can replace the cabin while loading your profile in singleplayer, if you can't get different cabin, due to insufficient level, you will need to buy different truck. Keep checking Development Announcements for news of any bug fixes.
  23. Default key for teleport is F9 - after using "goto" command, you will need to positon camera using numpad arrow keys very close to the ground or above any structuce you want to land on, because pressing F9 will spawn your truck wherever the camera is, be it high in the air, or below ground. After pressing F9 you will still be in free flying camera mode, pressing key for cabin view (1 by default) will put you back inside the truck ( this feature does not function in multiplayer). F11 is used to log map coordinates for bug reports, by default.
  24. Yes, you will still run into the problem with empty jobs list. When you don't own a truck, your only option will be reseting economy through config or console commands, which requires restarting of the game in both cases. If you own a truck, you can use other methods, like fast traveling. You can try my method of starting up from scratch: Start a game in multiplayer and create new profile - the very first job (tutorial) will be guaranteed late, but cant' be avoided. You should have plenty of quick jobs available, so start working, till you have at least 50500 €, or you can take loan to get to that amount, after 3 or 4 jobs. Buy a Scout car - it costs little over 50k, less than half of the cheapest truck, and it is available at every truck dealership. Free Camera

There isn't a way to do it. It can only be turned on/off by changing "uset g_developer" parameter between 0 and 1 in the config.cfg file located in Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder. This config file is global and it will affect all profiles. Even if you copy the line into any of the local config files located in you profile folder (config_local.cfg), it will be erased from there, and parameter in the global config will be changed instead, again affecting every profile. However, there is no harm in using free flying camera in multiplayer, you can still use it to look around, you can also use "goto" command, but you can't teleport anywhere, because that function is disabled in multiplayer.
