    Curious, Why does Russian text often have ")))" at the end? Is it like, Some letter that my PC can't show, or their way of doing smileys? Always wondered this :)

      Basically It's pretty much a smiley system. 

      Ending a sentence in ) Is like happy and ( is like sad. "I'm on holiday )" "I'm home now (". 

      Just a . Is basically emotionless. 

       

      I think that's quite accurate, it's what I learnt from a few pages which all said the same thing
