  3. Having worked as a high ranking staff member in another gaming community I can tell you that these things are not as easy as they might seem. Every organisation has its own vision and ideas on how it should be run and what it is they stand for. TruckersMP is no different. Even if you do make it to one of the higher positions in the community where you'd be able to have some influence, making actual concrete change can be rather challenging. If you do want to change something as important as, say, the way the community deals with reports, it's important that you're able to appropriately explain where exactly the community is failing right now, and provide an alternative method that can improve on this. I'd also recommend that you have experience in being part of and - preferably - managing teams and staff members. It can be incredibly easy to say "X should be different" but if you have no knowledge of how these things work your words become meaningless. TL;DR: If you want to change something, you have to work for it. And once you do get to that manager position you speak so highly of, there's a high propability that the changes you had in mind turn out to not be such good ideas after all.

    TruckersMP merchandise

I'll be real with you. I personally don't care about merchandise. At all. I don't like having mugs and t-shirts with my favourite youtuber's face on them, and TruckersMP isn't any different. I won't buy any of their merch, almost definitely never. But I know one thing: just because I personally don't care, others do. Some people out there love having shirts and mugs and stickers and who-knows-what-else with their favourite brand on them. And that's fine. If those people want this merchandise then I think it's only good that this community gives them that opportunity. To the community as a whole, there's nothing but positives to gain from this. For the people like you and me out there that don't actually care about this merchandise, there's nothing to lose. We don't have to pay for something we don't even want. The group that does like having their fancy truckersmp stickers to stick to their friends' faces they now can. Which, y'know, is pretty awesome for them. Just because you don't care about something, it's only better to look at it positively. I think it's great that other people can now have the joy they get from buying merch, and that makes me pretty happy. So, y'know, maybe next time try to think positive. You'll feel much better as a result too. Capiche?

A quick question about comparisons online.

To add onto what @Nameless Ghoul just said, there's another change in MP where you won't always have to go to services if you want to fix your truck. If you are on the road and have a trailer, you can make use of /fix to completely fix your truck, free of charge. The cooldown for this command is 600 seconds and I have to say it's incredibly useful.

    NeonLeon's #Truckerlife

This is super neat! It's also great to know just what the community means to you. It's heartwarming. Good luck! It'll be great to experience all these stories with you these coming weeks and months, if not years

Knone DLC not working in multiplayer ???

"Start" is the windows start menu, usually in the bottom left. Once you've opened it up search for regedit and hit enter. Then just follow all the other steps and you should be on your way!

    some disabled person

Nobody knows how to do anything at the start. We all learn, either through experiencing it ourselves or through the help of others. Don't worry over things you cannot do now, and instead worry yourself with how you're going to learn to do these things. That's the beauty of life - we all learn, and become better because of it. It's tough to have a disability like your own. You'll struggle, and things won't always be as easy for you as they seem to be for others. And that's fine! Don't think that you won't be able to experience things like school and work because that is simply not true. There's something for everyone - and that includes you. Just because you might not be able to do much that requires any kind of motor coordination does not make you useless. You'll be able to do many things that might require social skills instead. The sky's the limit and the only thing stopping you is your own imagination. But there's no need to worry about that right now. Lots of people don't even know what they want to do when they reach their twenties, let alone when they're steadily approaching the end of their teenage years. Don't worry about what you cannot do later down the line, and focus on the here and now instead. Do what you want to do and have a great time doing it. You'll fail and you'll struggle, but if you have your friends and family by your side to support you you'll get through those tough times. You'll do great dude, I'm sure of it.

    some disabled person

I do not mean any offense, but what kind of disability do you have exactly? The disability spectrum is pretty big, so it's quite difficult to give a proper opinion on the subject without knowing the necessary context. I'm also unsure what some of the poll questions mean. The second question for example - do you want to know if you can go to school like everyone else? Or is it something else you're asking? I'm personally someone that has a lot to share regarding disabilities and what it can mean for a person's life, so if I know what kind of a disability you have I'd love to discuss the matter with you. Whether or not you can end up with a job massively depends on your own talents, development and how you cope with issues. It also depends on where you live - for example in The Netherlands a large amount of disabled people do minor tasks under supervision and care. And even if you don't live in a very developed country, there should still be initiatives (either on local or national scale) that can help and assist you to get a job that works for you.

    Speed limiter turn on itself

Not necessarily. The speed limiter prevents you from speeding up by throttle, but not by physics. You also do not need to unlink your WOT account for this to work, you just need to make sure you're not undertaking any external contracts at this moment in time. If you turned off the setting in the tab menu, are outside city limits, are not undertaking any external contracts and are playing on any server that is not server 1, then it should work fine and you should be able to at least throttle up as fast as your truck is capable of.

How did you come up with your username?

It came up to me when I had to make a new Clash of Clans account for my phone in 2013 lol. I liked it, so I stuck with it ever since. There's no real reason behind the name itself.

Why do we drive too fast?

This assumes that everyone that drives faster than the limits are immediately a problem to all other players on the server, so asking for everyone to abide by the road's rules "to respect everyone else" is too big an assumption. There are plenty of people that can drive 100 km/h and make proper turns without endangering other players. There are plenty of people that can drive fast but not recklessly, and putting people that cut corners on the same level as those that drive quickly with no care for their enviroment is almost insulting in my opinion. Regardless, I personally do drive "too fast". I also basically only drive in quiter areas where coming across another player is rare. When I do get to a busier area, I pay better attention and drive slower to avoid crashes and problems. Furthermore it depends on the road how fast I drive. If it's on a highway and there aren't others nearby, I might drive 150 km/h if the road is straight enough. If it's a regular, small road I drive anywhere between 70 and 110, depending on the turns and the possible other players nearby. I don't really have an explanation for driving that fast. I've seen someone else assume that everyone that drives that quickly play the game purely for the sake of racing, but that's not really true in my case (though I do enjoy myself some Mario Kart). I just always get this feeling that I shouldn't really waste my time, and if I have the opportunity to go faster without being a danger for anyone else then I'll take it. Obviously this does increase the chances of me getting into an accident, however as stated before I always drive more safely when others are around, so in these cases the only one I'm endangering is myself.
  14. I like to drive in the quiter areas, primarily because it doesn't lag my game out as much. Driving around in Italy and southern France is really cool - great roads, great scenery, and when you do meet another person it's become some sort of special occasion. Scandinavia's pretty high up there too, for basically all the same reasons.
