Suggestion Name: Ban VTC advertisement in chat. Suggestion Description: Banning the advertisement of VTC's in in-game chat. Any example images: Not really a suggestion I can give a picture of... Why it should be added: Every time I join Truckers MP to do a drive, chat, or do anything of the sort, the chat is always spammed with illegible VTC advertisements that get really annoying and having a chat with anyone is near impossible. I'm not saying to ban VTC advertisement as a whole (that's just stupid), but at least ban it in in-game chat due to there being more 'official' ways of advertisement (such as the TMP discord or renting TFM(or other radio stations) advertisement slots) than spamming in-game chat and annoying the hell out of other people. I'm really interested in other peoples thoughts, so please, anyone that has any constructive comments, please, comment and let your opinion known5 points

Spamming messages is not allowed already, but banning them entirely in game is not really realistic. In all honesty, we have more important things to worry about than someone posting a harmless message about a VTC.3 points

Hey there @Major UA, First of all, welcome to TruckersMP forums especially to help section. ___________ Answer: It's not that easy to answer, because the DBus Word must be in contact with them as they are now. However this bus will not long be TMP since it was chosen as alternative vehicle for 2 weeks only. -> Bus ONLY for Patreon does not Support by DBus World, that means you will not be able to load passenger into it. If you want to drive with passengers then you have to select the bus added by DBus Word to TruckersMP. Here is topic about it: https://truckersmp.com/blog/272 Hope, it helped to solve your question. Don't forget to let Supporters know about your status of your question. It keeps the forum (help section) organized. Regards, RedWolf_Plays TruckersMP Veteran Driver IV2 points

Hi There, I too would like to see TMP have some form of support for Virtual Reality users. As far as I can tell, the only differences between the main & beta branches are the following: First Person View UI Element Positions The way it seems so far, the UI elements on the beta are pretty much the same as the main branch, just a bit more towards the centre of the cabin. A lot of the elements in TMP (in theory) should already be mostly compatible. Only tweaks needed would be the positioning of UI elements. We already use mouse & keyboard anyway while in VR still to access menus, etc. Hence why I believe a lot of the TMP elements is pretty much already compatible with the beta branch. Think of it this way, the VR branch already has a "desktop-like panel" to use. Otherwise, we wouldn't be able to adjust mirrors, etc. using a mouse. I'm not a game developer by any means. But in all honesty, this should be tested to see what breaks & what doesn't at-least. Testing could be done in-house or have some closed alpha/beta testers with VR to assist testing and providing feedback. Networking shouldn't be any concern since like I said, only differences are what I listed above and none of them should affect networking in any way. Therefore, server-side editing should not be needed. The only reason I can think of as to why TMP will not support VR at this time, is due to the current implementation of the platform itself. It's really unknown how TMP is built-up as far as I know. However, all I can find out is, TMP injects specific libraries into the client which is most likely why they can only support 1 specific version. If I'm presuming correctly, the injected libraries shouldn't care about the first person view regardless. If it does, then I have no idea as to why. UI elements should be fine due to the "desktop-like panel" we have anyways in VR. So based on theoretics, and what I've talked and know so far, TMP should already be VR ready, it's just not allowed. TL;DR: Please test the idea at-least by allowing the beta branch version or clone the current launcher w/ VR branch set-up and see if it's playable. If it is playable, make it unofficially supported and have it listed in the launcher if the beta branch is enabled. Therefore, you have no responsibility to provide support if something breaks. EDIT (and slightly off-topic but plays a part on VR compatibility): Btw, the version checking at this current time, seems very inflexible also. Targeting a very specific build, therefore if a minor update comes out, for example, update from 1.47.1.2s to 1.47.2.1s, TMP has to update for that specific build. Where as, just doing 1.47.x would add better flexibility like many mods do and already supports VR builds. If the versioning methodology SCS is using is the following: "1" = Release Version "47" = Major Update "1" = Minor Update "2s" = Revision for desktop || "1002" for VR This will further prove (in theory) it's already almost guaranteed there's just not that much difference between the two branches. Only version difference is the revision build.2 points

Back in January, we posted a blog sharing some details on some of the Industries that will be featured in our upcoming Oklahoma DLC for American Truck Simulator. Since then, our team has completed a considerable amount of work on the depots and placed them into the world, which we are happy to share with you today! From Tire Factories to a River Ports, our teams have paid particular attention when creating these industries within the American Truck Simulator economy. This includes designing brand artwork for new and existing depots, which our artists have been tasked with creating. Today we'd love to show you a combination of the both, with a little behind the scenes insight for these upcoming Oklahoma industries. As we showcased in a previous blogpost, Oklahoma will feature a range of different industries unique to the state. This includes a River Port, Bus Factory, Building Technology Factory, Gas & Chemical Distributions, Tire Factory, Furniture Store and Public Works. With these industries will come some new unique cargo additions too, which we look forward to sharing more about in a future blog post. Almost as important as the cargo is the companies' image. Our artists have been hard at work updating and creating new brands across the American Truck Simulator world; and Oklahoma is no exception. On your travels, you'll be able to spot an array of new logos and brands, each one going through a process of being changed and refined multiple times to create a design that is recognisable to the industry they represent, which is no easy task! We spoke with our in-house artist, Annie, about the designs of some of the brands you'll find in Oklahoma, here is what she had to say about them: Gas & Chemical FactoryKnow as ERPO, I designed this logo with a sleek, simple, minimalist design which aims to inspire confidence in the company and its services. I did experiment a lot with this one, especially with the rounded squares (as they were alot of fun to play with!). Even if we end up not using most of the designs, they can be recycled and reused later in production. Bus FactoryThis industry stood out from the rest from the very beginning. Having come with a very unique and exciting new depot, I chose to give Yelco's logo and assets a stylish, modern look - but one that also screamed "reliability". I felt like a diamond and triangular shapes in general fit the theme! Electrical Appliance CompanyTechnoma's logo was a fun one to design. Since the company specializes in air conditioning, heating and cooling systems (among other things), I let these concepts inspire the logo creation. As for the assets themselves, I aimed to create a really distinct look that set the company apart from its competitors in ATS, using the "pipe" shape from the logo itself. It was a very fun assignment and I hope our players like the results. Tire FactoryDynamix is a manufacturer that isn't at all new to ATS, you may have encountered it in your garage before where it has served as one of our default tire manufacturers for years. It's always exciting to bring an old company closer to fans and letting them interact with it. Dynamix's logo has been given a little "facelift", alongside a brand new depot and modern signs to go with it! Public Works Creating a logo for CCW (Central Civil Works) was a fairly challenging task, as we struggled with the artistic direction at first. Ultimately, we chose the more modern take on the logo, in a vibrant dark green colour we considered underrepresented in our game, helping the company stand out. Furniture Store Creating the look of our new furniture store, Myroo, was a very fun task. Unlike with most depots, Myroo gave us the opportunity to get extra creative with the building itself. I had fun experimenting with different materials, eventually settling on wooden decorative elements, which we'd use later in the signs designs as well. When it came to the design process behind the logo, the key words in this case were family-friendly, cozy & welcoming. We hope that you look forward to all that Oklahoma has to offer in terms of its industries. Which one are you looking forward to delivering to? Let us know in the comments or on social media; and if you like what you see, be sure to add Oklahoma to your Steam Wishlist. Until next time, keep on truckin'. View the full article1 point

still 95% players dont care about simulation in tmp all they want is gta with trucks here.I am not saying that this is bad but fact is a fact, even i too fall in that category and would want eu 2 or sim 2 to be bustling with life again.Wherever the crowd goes the crowd behind follows like sheeps.JUSt wait when sim 1 crashes or have any issues then and from there sim 2 will be lively again and it will continue .i usually pursuade people in sim 1 to join sim 2 every single minute1 point
