The cops (local police, county sheriff, state troopers) here put all tow services on a rotation. We each take turns getting called to an accident. Not sure about the rest of North America though... I'm surprised tow trucks would get in the way of a cop... tho the first tow truck helped the cop at first lol Tho yes tow trucks will still drive I the wrong side with just cause here. Cops be pissed but if they are first to contain or save a life... who's going to fine that esp if no accident is caused? Tho being a member you might get a discount...
