Scout Car not changing speeds automatically

My game is in simple automatic therefore should change speeds automatically, however on my scout car it just stays in the first gear and doesn't change, whereas on my trucks it works perfectly fine? Anyone know why? ;/

This is a known bug,please wait patienly for next updates,Truckersmp team hard work for that's bug fix.

Known Bug Read here:

There are 2 solutions

1) Switch to manual

2) When the engine revs let go of the throttle for 1-2 seconds then hit full throttle and your car should switch to 2nd gear

The developers are aware of this issue and they are currently working on a fix. The issue is that the automatic gearbox has got a bug on it. The solution to sort this out will be to use a manual gearbox or H-Shifter if possible. 

 

Also, remove the Speed Limit from the game files.

 

Just open: C:\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\profiles\ and navigate into the folder of your current profile. Open 'config.cfg' with a Text Editor, search for the line "uset g_use_speed_limiter" and make sure to put a "0" next to it. Then save and close the config-file and check if your speed limiter keeps disabled now
