Delay of Delivery

Hi,

i played my first round MP today and got this final (attachment) screen for my delivery. 10mins driving for zero money

Is this bug already known of?

There is a difference between the times between singleplayer and multiplayer . You've probably picked up the payload on the single and that's the reason. Take a ride on a single player, collect money on your own truck and then enter the mutli and pick up the cargo after logging in

I recommend you to have 2 save games or profiles for one single player and another for multiplayer things like this is not going to happen

 

The reason why this happened is said above already, the MP clock never stops so you have to deliver before a certain time before your job get's late

Dear @lxdiamond, as already mentioned above, the time in Multiplayer never stops, whereas in Singleplayer the time progress will stop when you quit the game, and continue if you get back into it. Now the problem is, if you are playing Singleplayer and quit the game, the savegame will be placed at a specific date. But since the time progress on MP is further ahead of it, if you connect to MP with the same profile, you will get a huge time jump, as MP is way ahead of your Singleplayer time (it depends on how long you haven't played Multiplayer. The longer it's been, the bigger the time gap between SP and MP will get).

 

Now this isn't a big issue at all per se, but the problem is: If you pick a job in SP and connect with that one to MP, the job will almost guaranteed be late, due to the immense time gap between off- and online. My advice is: Always try to pick jobs in MP only, then you won't be facing this issue (but of course you have to keep in mind to deliver your job while being online, because otherwise you can get late too since the time won't stop if you disconnect and carry on a few days later). However, you can do it the other way round: If you go from MP to SP while still having a job active, it won't be late, as the time will carry on in SP right where you have left in MP. Another way to avoid this from happening is picking World of Trucks - jobs, as these are measured in real time and it doesn't make a difference how much ingame time you needed in order to deliver it.
